Bitcoin has suddenly entered a much more dangerous part of the chart.
After trading above $86K earlier, BTC has fallen sharply toward the $80K zone. The move is not happening in isolation — the broader risk market is under pressure as oil prices surge and U.S. Treasury yields remain extremely high.
And there is another important signal:
More than $700M in crypto positions were liquidated during the sell-off.
🐻 Why Are Sellers So Aggressive?
The macro environment has changed.
Oil has moved above $100, Treasury yields have climbed to levels not seen in years, and the dollar has strengthened.
That combination usually creates pressure on risk assets — and Bitcoin is feeling it.
The Federal Reserve's latest minutes also showed that most policymakers considered another rate hike possible this year.
🎯 $80K Is Now THE Level
This is where the chart becomes extremely interesting.
$80K is psychologically important.
If buyers defend this area and BTC quickly recovers back above $82K–$83K, the current move could become a liquidity sweep rather than the beginning of a much deeper decline.
But if BTC loses $80K decisively and cannot reclaim it, sellers could gain significantly more control.
I would not blindly assume either outcome.
Price confirmation matters more than predictions.
📊 What I'm Watching
For me, the key zones are:
🔴 $80K — major psychological support
🟡 $82K–$83K — important recovery zone
🟢 $86K–$87K — bulls need to reclaim this area to seriously change the short-term structure
The market is already showing heavy volatility, so chasing candles here is dangerous.
🧠 My Take
The biggest mistake traders can make right now is thinking:
“BTC dropped, so I must buy immediately.”
A falling market can fall further.
At the same time, assuming that every sharp drop means a new bear market can also be a mistake.
The next reaction around $80K could tell us much more than today's red candle.
🔥 Bitcoin is at one of the most important levels of this move.
Do you think $80K becomes the bounce zone — or does BTC break below it and open the door to another major leg down?
