@Chainlink closed out September with a notable milestone: 40 new integrations across 24 users, spanning decentralized finance platforms, enterprise technology firms, and emerging blockchain networks. The figure, shared by the protocol on October 7, underlines how quickly $LINK's infrastructure is becoming standard plumbing across the on-chain economy.
Who Plugged In
The September roster covers a wide range of sectors. On the crypto-native side, @Aave $AAVE and @Coinbase $COIN are among the most established names to deepen their Chainlink ties. @Monad $MON and @Arc represent newer networks that require reliable data and interoperability from the outset. @Paxos, the regulated stablecoin issuer, and @sunrise also featured among the additions.
Beyond crypto-native firms, the list includes enterprise technology names. @Chainlink's growing enterprise footprint reflects a broader push into traditional finance, where institutions are seeking regulated, verifiable on-chain data infrastructure.
The integrations covered several components of the Chainlink stack, including the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), Data Feeds, Data Streams, and the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE).
A Month That Built to CCIP 2.0
The 40 integrations did not all land at once. Around September 20, Chainlink reported 16 integrations across 6 services and 7 chains. A further 14 followed around September 27, spanning 6 services and 4 chains. The month then closed with the launch of CCIP 2.0 on September 28, which introduced configurable verification and compliance controls aimed squarely at institutional clients.
The September activity fits a broader 2026 pattern for @Chainlink. As of early 2026, more than 2,100 projects across 16-plus blockchain networks were already using Chainlink services, roughly a 40 percent year-over-year increase, according to research from Spotedcrypto. @SergeyNazarov and his team have maintained that pace throughout the year, with integrations spanning DeFi, payments, AI infrastructure, and tokenized real-world assets.
Integration counts measure doors opened rather than traffic passing through them. The more telling data in the months ahead will be whether the cross-chain value secured by Chainlink continues to grow alongside its expanding partner list.
