One of the most useful signals right now isn’t a meme, indicator or influencer prediction.
It’s ETF money flow.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded +$102.7M on Oct. 1 and +$189.9M on Oct. 2, before flipping to -$89.8M on Oct. 5. Ethereum ETFs, meanwhile, posted outflows of -$55.4M, -$37.4M and -$50.8M across those same three sessions. Solana ETFs also slipped to -$9.2M on Oct. 5.
That tells us something important:
Institutional demand is still there — but it’s selective.
Bitcoin has shown the strongest recent institutional support, while $ETH and $SOL are facing a more difficult flow environment.
If $BTC breaks $87K while ETF inflows return strongly, that would be a much healthier breakout than price rising mainly on leverage.
But if ETF outflows accelerate while prices climb?
⚠️ That’s when I’d become more cautious.
This is why I’m watching flows + spot demand + price, not just candles.
