🚀 30 DAYS OF CRYPTO EDUCATION — DAY 2

🔗 WHAT EXACTLY IS A BLOCKCHAIN?

Yesterday, we introduced the world of cryptocurrency. Today, let's go one level deeper.

Think of a blockchain as a digital record book that is shared across a network of computers.

When transactions happen, they are grouped into blocks. These blocks are then linked together chronologically, creating a chain of blocks — hence the name “blockchain.”

💡 Simple example:

You send 1 BTC to a friend.

➡️ The transaction is broadcast to the network.

➡️ The network verifies it.

➡️ The transaction is recorded in a block.

➡️ That block becomes part of the blockchain.

One important feature is that blockchains are designed so that changing previously recorded information is difficult and detectable.

🔥 KEY LESSON:

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, but blockchain is the underlying technology that enables Bitcoin to operate without a traditional central database controlling every transaction.

🎯 DAY 2 CHALLENGE:

In your own words, what do you think would happen if there were no blockchain supporting Bitcoin?
