🚨 Bitget to Resume Withdrawals in Phases After $351.6M Security Incident.
Bitget will begin restoring withdrawals from September 28, following the security incident that affected parts of its hot and warm wallet infrastructure. The exchange says the vulnerability has been identified and remediated, with additional security checks underway alongside Mandiant and SlowMist.
However, Bitget’s official recovery plan does not state that users below $5,000 will be allowed to withdraw while larger accounts must wait weeks. Instead, withdrawals will reopen by asset and network in phases, starting with BTC on September 28, followed by ETH on September 29, USDT on September 30, and other tokens, fiat and P2P services on October 2.
