If your main goal is to survive and protect your hard earned money, you must treat these rules as non negotiable. Else entering the crypto market without a proper plan is the fastest way to lose your capital.

Why this matters is if you have a $1,000 account, or less as it may be, losing a trade should only cost you $10 to $20.
This ensures that even if you hit a streak of 5 losses in a row, you still have 90 percent of your capital left to fight another day.
2️⃣ The Leverage Ban (Spot First): Stay completely away from Futures and Leverage trading for your first few months, Stick strictly to Spot trading.
Why it matters, Leverage multiplies both gains and losses. As a newbie, high leverage like 10x or 20x will liquidate your entire account over a tiny normal market fluctuation.
But In Spot trading, you own the asset, so you can never be liquidated.
3️⃣ The 3 Step Pre-Flight Check list: Before you click the "Buy" button on any coin, you must write down the answers to these three things.
Your Entry Price: Exactly the price you are buying at and why?
Take-Profit (TP): At what exact price target you are to take your profit and exit?
Stop-Loss (SL): At what exact price you will accept that you were wrong and automatically cut my losses? If you cannot answer all three before pressing the buy button, do not open the trade.
4️⃣ The No-Hype Rule (Kill the FOMO): Never you buy a coin that is already pumping parabolically or trending on social media.
Why it matters is this, If a coin is up 50 percent to 100 percent in a day, you are already too late. Professional traders are waiting to sell their tokens to retail buyers who would buy the hype.
If you miss a pump, accept it, move on, and wait for a healthy pullback or the next setup.
5️⃣ Then the math of recovery reality check: Understand that losing money is easy, but making it back is twice as hard. If you lose 50 percent of your portfolio, you don't just need a 50 percent gain to get back.
so protecting your downside is always mathematically smarter than chasing massive upside.
