AMC Entertainment ($AMC): The box office comeback is getting stronger. 👀
AMC delivered its highest quarterly revenue and Adjusted EBITDA in its 106-year history in Q2 2026. Revenue reached $1.60B, up 14.2% YoY, while Adjusted EBITDA jumped 69.6% to $321.4M.
The momentum continued into July and August. AMC reported preliminary two-month revenue of $1.33B, up 42.2% YoY, with attendance rising 35.9%. Cash and cash equivalents also reached $832.5M at the end of August.
At the same time, debt remains a major factor. AMC is pursuing roughly $4B of new financing to refinance existing debt and extend maturities, including $2B of notes due 2031.
A stronger box office is improving the business, but debt and financing costs remain key factors to watch.
