📈 BREAKOUT — WHAT DOES IT ACTUALLY MEAN?

You’ve probably heard traders say, “The price has broken out!”
But what exactly is a breakout? 🤔

A breakout happens when the price moves beyond an important support or resistance level.

For example, if a coin keeps getting rejected around $10 and finally moves above $10, that could be a bullish breakout.

There are a few common types:

🔹 Bullish Breakout
Price moves above resistance, showing that buyers are becoming stronger.

🔹 Bearish Breakout
Price breaks below support, showing stronger selling pressure.

🔹 False Breakout (Fakeout)
Price breaks a level but quickly comes back. This often traps traders who entered too early. ⚠️

🔹 Breakout + Retest
Price breaks a level, comes back to test it, and then continues in the same direction. This can provide stronger confirmation.

💡 One thing I’ve learned:
Not every move above resistance is a real breakout.

Before trusting a breakout, check the candle close, volume, and what price does afterward.

Don't chase every breakout. Wait for confirmation. 🎯
