The crypto market is heating up again, and Bitcoin is stealing the spotlight.

After an explosive week, Bitcoin (BTC) is hovering around $79K–$80K, up roughly 2–3% over the past 24 hours. Even more impressive, BTC has gained around 23–25% in the last week, making it one of its strongest weekly moves in years.

Why Is Bitcoin Pumping?

A few major factors are behind the rally:

Strong Bitcoin ETF inflows in the U.S., with around $1.9B flowing in last week.

A weaker U.S. dollar, helped by Treasury bond buyback plans, is bringing attention back to Bitcoin as a hedge against currency debasement.

Short sellers getting squeezed, with billions of dollars in leveraged positions liquidated.

Growing optimism around crypto regulation, especially progress surrounding the Clarity Act.

Now the big question is simple: Can Bitcoin hold the $78K–$80K area, or are we about to see a healthy pullback after such a fast rally?

If institutional buying continues, some analysts believe BTC could have much bigger targets later this year.

Ethereum & Major Altcoins

Ethereum (ETH) is also looking strong, trading around $2,490–$2,500. ETH is up roughly 1.5–2% today and has gained around 30% over the past week.

Institutional interest is still strong, with companies such as BitMine continuing to accumulate large amounts of ETH.

Solana (SOL) has also been one of the stronger large-cap performers, pushing toward the $100 level in some sessions. XRP, BNB and several other major altcoins are joining the rally, although some are now taking a breather after their big weekly gains.

Meme Coins & High-Momentum Tokens

While Bitcoin and Ethereum are grabbing the headlines, the real excitement is happening in the smaller coins.

Cash Cat (CASHCAT) has been one of the standout movers, gaining more than 40–50% in 24 hours at times as trading volume and meme-coin hype picked up.

AI tokens, DeFi projects, newer launches, Zcash and several ecosystem coins are also seeing strong moves, with some recording double-digit gains.

Overall, the crypto market cap has climbed toward $2.7–$2.8 trillion, while trading activity is picking up as bullish sentiment returns.

Other Things Worth Watching

Coinbase is moving further into tokenized stocks, with major names such as Apple, Nvidia, Meta and Alphabet reportedly among the initial offerings on Base.

Solana governance discussions are looking at possible changes to token burns.

- Large investors continue to accumulate crypto through institutional and on-chain buying.

The Bottom Line

The mood in crypto has definitely changed.

After weeks of uncertainty, buyers are back in control, with ETF demand, improving liquidity conditions and hopes for clearer regulation helping push the market higher.

But remember: fast rallies can also bring fast corrections. Bitcoin testing $80K is exciting, but volatility is still extremely high.

So, what are you watching today?

BTC breaking above $80K?

Altcoins preparing for another run?

Or are you staying on the sidelines and waiting for a pullback?
