Tendex Capital: What Kind of Fund Is It and How Does It Differ from Other Crypto Projects?

Investing in cryptocurrencies tends to lead to two extremes: either you trade yourself 24/7 and quickly burn out, or you hand management over to a professional team. The latter is much easier, but there is one problem: who can you really trust with your hard-earned money, and how can you avoid scams?
Tendex Capital appeared in my feed a few times, so I wanted to look into it. The fund's promises are appealing, but what interested me more was who is behind it, whether it is actually registered, and what other details matter. The company has an unusual approach to trading.
What Is Tendex Capital?
This is not an ordinary platform. User involvement is minimal. Normally, you buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other altcoins yourself, but with Tendex Capital, things work differently. The company operates as an investment structure with its own trading technologies. Its focus is on market-neutralstrategies.
Traditional trading is based on buying at a lower price, waiting, and selling as high as possible. If the price rises, you can make a profit; if it falls, you take a loss. A market-neutral approach works differently. It looks for discrepancies within the market itself, meaning that returns are not generated solely by the growth of a specific asset.
In practice, this means looking for price discrepancies, liquidity characteristics, and other situations that can be used algorithmically. Tendex states that it uses its own trading infrastructure and systems that operate across multiple cryptocurrency platforms.
This can be considered a genuinely interesting feature of the fund. It does not rely on predicting which asset will become more expensive, but on processing large amounts of market data and executing trades automatically.
What Do the Algorithms Offer?
There is a great deal of talk about algorithms and their effectiveness, so the meaning can easily be lost or distorted. That is why it is important to understand what Tendex actually claims.
The team includes specialists in quantitative analysis and data processing, as well as trading software developers. For example, Vincent Braunack-Mayer works with quantitative analysis and data, including mathematical models, statistics, and machine learning. Another team member works on high-load order execution systems and integration with crypto exchanges. The team information is not hidden and can easily be verified on the website.

In other words, the fund's algorithm is not simply a technical indicator that displays a "buy" or "sell" signal. The system simultaneously processes market data, identifies suitable opportunities, calculates trade parameters, and sends orders to trading venues. These operations are performed automatically and quickly, so they do not depend on manual human intervention.
In my view, this is both an advantage and a disadvantage. There is less risk of impulsive, panic-driven decisions, while analysis and trading can continue 24/7, meaning fewer opportunities are likely to be missed. However, the success of algorithms depends on market conditions and how quickly they can be adjusted to adapt to new circumstances. Only a long track record of trading with the platform can demonstrate this. Considering that the company has been operating since 2019, its algorithms appear to have adapted successfully even to crisis situations, of which there have been many since 2020.
Switzerland as a Jurisdiction: Is It a Good Choice?

The company's registered address is in Zurich, and it operates under the requirements of FINIG and FIDLEG. This is a reliable jurisdiction that provides a strong level of protection for users' rights. However, it should be noted that this is not a 100% guarantee that trading risks will be minimized.
The Swiss system requires companies managing assets and trust funds to obtain authorization from FINMA. Ongoing supervision is carried out by specialized organizations, which in turn receive the appropriate authorization and are directly supervised by FINMA.
In the case of Tendex Capital, the supervisory organization indicated is OSFINcontrol AG. Это не государственный орган, а частная организация, имеющая разрешение FINMA на выполнение надзорных функций. Она контролирует соблюдение требований FINIG, FIDLEG и законодательства по противодействию отмывания денег.
All this information is presented directly on the website, without requiring clarification through customer support. This transparency is appealing because the information can be checked relatively easily, allowing users to assess how safe and legally compliant the fund is.
It is worth noting that "Swiss" is often associated with reliability, longevity, and security. However, investment risks always exist and do not depend on jurisdiction.
What Makes Tendex Stand Out?
I would highlight three key points:
What About Reviews of Tendex?

Having operated since 2019, the company has inevitably built a reputation. As a result, there are quite a few reviews, analyses, and assessments available. Personally, I did not see signs that they were "bought"; the information appears to be supported by facts. If there is any negative feedback, it seems to focus mainly on allegedly "small profits," with the criticism being about the amount: "I would have liked more." I did not come across reviews mentioning non-payments or significant drawdowns. That says quite a lot.
To sum up: there are no risk-free investments. Tendex Capital is no exception, but the platform appears transparent, as the information can be checked against official sources, from ZEFIX (the Swiss Federal Commercial Registry) to Google's AI-generated results. I was unable to find specific negative information or clear signs of a scam.
