Bitcoin dominance has not been in a straight line since 2013.
It peaked near 94% early, dropped to 33% in the ICO cycle, recovered into the high 60s during the 2019 winter, fell again in DeFi summer, and has been sitting in the mid-50s to low-60s range since late 2024.
The pattern is the same every time. BTC runs first. Alts catch up later. Then dominance falls until the cycle resets. When dominance is high, the market is still waiting on Bitcoin. When it starts dropping and stays down, money is rotating.
Right now it is still in the same range it has been in for months. Nothing new is happening until one of those levels actually breaks and holds. A wick through 60% is not a new cycle. A close above it that stays there is.
Most people treat every dominance move like it means something different. It usually does not. The market is just revisiting the same argument until one side wins and stays there. $BTC

A lot of people saw last week's push and assumed the range was over.
Here's the simple read:
BTC tagged the mid-$86ks, then gave some back. It is sitting around $86k. Buyers are still there. They are not chasing. The rest of the board is not waiting on BTC.
ETH is around $2,700. Quiet.
SOL is around $120. Also quiet.
PUMP is the one that actually moved. Up ~11% on the week and holding $0.006 so far.
PUMP is likely to be one of the best coins to hold this cycle.
Alts are not moving together. One name is. Most are not.
Levels to use:
- BTC: $85k holds = the push failed, not a breakdown. $87k breaks and holds = the next leg is open. $82k breaks and cannot get back = weakness.
- ETH: $2,650 is the spot that has to hold. $2,800 is the first real test.
- SOL: $115 is support. $130 is the first real test.
PUMP: $0.006 holds = the move is still alive. $0.009 is the old high.
Until $BTC takes $87k, this is still a range.
Alts only matter if they keep outrunning it.

BTC tagged $87.2k on Friday, got rejected right at the September high, and flushed to $83.9k.
Spent the weekend chopping between $84.5k and $85k. This morning it pushed back above $85k.
levels that matter from here:
- $85k is the level that has to hold. lose it again and this is just chop
- $83.9k (Friday's low), then $83k–$82k, is the support under that
- $87k is still the level bulls need back. it's rejected price twice now
- a daily close under $81.5k would turn this into a deeper reset
For now it's a range. The next real move comes when $85k holds or $87k gives.

$牛来 is still one of my highest conviction memecoin positions.
most people still look at it like it’s just another viral Chinese meme.
i think that completely misses the point.
牛来 literally means “the bull is coming” and the narrative goes much deeper than just a ticker. it connects directly to the idea of a bull market arriving, which is why i think it resonates so strongly with Chinese traders.
what makes it even more interesting to me is that it works in two completely different ways:
the West sees something foreign, funny and viral.
the East actually understands the meaning behind it.
if those two worlds keep meeting in the same meme, i think the upside can be much bigger than people expect.
maybe i’m wrong, but i genuinely think people will understand $牛来 a lot more once it’s trading at much higher prices.

$BTC 🇺🇸 THE US MIDTERMS COULD BE A BIG CATALYST FOR Bitcoin
History offers an interesting pattern.
Bitcoin recorded positive returns in the 12 months following the last three US midterm elections:
📊 2014 → BTC gained 24.5% in the following 12 months.
📊 2018 → BTC gained 44.9%.
📊 2022 → BTC gained 92.3%.
But this election carries another layer of uncertainty: crypto regulation.
The CLARITY Act remains stuck in the Senate, and a shift in political power could change the regulatory outlook for the entire industry.
Geopolitical tensions, oil prices, inflation, and monetary policy could also create short-term turbulence.
Here's what I'm watching:
The election may create volatility, but the bigger picture is liquidity.
If political uncertainty fades, macroeconomic conditions improve, and liquidity begins flowing back into risk assets, Bitcoin and the broader crypto market could have room for another major expansion.
