SK Hynix Sees Memory Demand Outpacing Supply Through 2030 After $78.9B Quarter• SK Hynix posted record Q3 revenue of 104.6 trillion won ($78.9 billion), up 328% year over year. • SK Hynix operating profit jumped 632% to 83.3 trillion won, beating consensus estimates. • SK Hynix says over half of its 2027 and 2028 capacity is committed under long-term agreements. SK Hynix Sees Demand Outpacing Supply The SK Hynix quarterly report set the tone for Wednesday's session: record third-quarter revenue of 104.6 trillion won ($78.9 billion), up 328% year over year, with operating profit jumping 632% to 83.3 trillion won and coming in ahead of consensus. Management told investors it expects memory demand to outpace supply through 2030, adding that more than half of its 2027 and 2028 production capacity is already committed under long-term agreements. Contracts of that kind typically fix volumes for buyers years in advance, which keeps committed output off the open market even as new capacity comes online, and the forecast pushes back on recent fears that the memory cycle could top out in 2028. Micron (MU) trades at $966.39 on Thursday, up 0.48% over the past 24 hours, and COINOTAG's composite scoring places its strongest support at $951.65, rated 100/100 from a stack of the 100-day EMA, the 0.382 Fibonacci level and the Ichimoku Kijun. SanDisk (SNDK) changes hands at $1,381.39, up 1.87%, with the heaviest resistance overhead at $1,428.52, scored 93/100. Open interest in Micron stock perpetuals stands at $157.3 million, against $299.1 million for SanDisk. Both daily trend readings are sideways and both MACD signals are bullish; a sustained break of either level would reset the near-term setup. SanDisk Earnings Set the Next Move SanDisk spent several weeks trending lower through the broader chip selloff before finding a floor at the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement near $1,244.58, a level that coincided with a demand zone which also held in May and early August. Wednesday's rebound aims at the 0.5 retracement around $1,456; a move above it would open a retest of the 0.382 level at $1,668, where sellers have repeatedly stepped in. Trading volume is contracting, which points to a compression phase, and the relative strength index has recovered into neutral territory near 45. A daily close back below $1,244 would break the setup and expose the 0.786 retracement close to $943. The earnings report due after Thursday's close will likely decide which path wins. The market looks for roughly $10.64 billion in revenue and earnings per share near $46, and options pricing implies a move of about 9.9% in either direction. Micron Technology's own structure looks firmer: the stock briefly lost the 0.382 retracement at $894.58 before reclaiming it with Wednesday's gain, printed its first lower low since July after a higher high on October 2, and drew down roughly 32% from its June peak against about 48% for SanDisk. A push above $1,000 and the 0.236 Fibonacci level at $1,032 would confirm the recovery, while losing $894 again could open a path toward the 0.5 level near $783. Because Micron tends to track its memory peers closely, SanDisk's results could set the tone for both stocks.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Sees 92.07 Billion Token Net Inflow to Exchanges• 92.0678 billion SHIB flowed into exchanges on a net basis over the past 24 hours. • SHIB exchange inflows totaled 324.281 billion tokens while outflows reached 232.2131 billion. • Exchange reserves rose 0.11% to 86.2525 trillion SHIB as their dollar value fell 2.9% to $418.32 million. Second Deposit Wave in a Week An unusually large batch of Shiba Inu tokens reached trading venues over the latest 24-hour window. On-chain flow data shows 92.0678 billion SHIB moved onto crypto exchanges on a net basis, meaning deposits outstripped withdrawals and the buffer of tokens positioned for sale grew. Total inflows came to 324.281 billion SHIB, a 1% increase, while outflows rose 1.13% to 232.2131 billion tokens, leaving roughly 92 billion in net deposits; the netflow reading itself advanced 0.77% across the period. Both sides of the ledger expanded at once, but deposits grew faster, so the net effect added to sellable supply rather than draining it. Exchange netflow is one of the primary gauges used to judge whether holders are staging assets for sale or moving them into self-custody, because tokens on a trading venue can be sold in seconds while coins in self-custody must move first. The memecoin's exchange reserves tell the same story from the balance-sheet side: they rose 0.11% to 86.2525 trillion SHIB even as the dollar value of those balances fell 2.9% to $418.32 million, so token counts and market valuation moved in opposite directions. The latest reading is also the second deposit wave of the month. On October 23, the token registered about 77.3 billion SHIB in net inflows, and the repeat indicates the pressure is not a one-off. It is a sharp reversal from an earlier stretch in which SHIB recorded a net outflow of 95.68 billion tokens, a session in which holders were pulling supply off venues instead of staging it. The Shiba Inu price last changed hands near $0.00000491, up 0.4% since the flow reading was compiled but about 1% lower across 24 hours. Our own composite scoring points in the same direction. COINOTAG's support and resistance model grades the resistance cluster overhead at 100 out of 100, the strongest reading on the chart, formed where the 20, 50 and 100 exponential moving averages meet the 200 simple moving average. The strongest support shelf below sits at 65/100, where the Bollinger Bands lower band and several swing levels converge. Momentum agrees: the relative strength index prints 38.60, the MACD signal is bearish, and the broader trend is classified as a downtrend. Positioning adds little cushion either way, with the perpetual funding rate at 0.0064%, barely above neutral, and open interest at $9.47 million. Buyers Fail at $0.0000052 The daily chart backs the caution in the flows. At the 12:22 UTC reading, SHIB traded near $0.00000489, having closed below several major moving averages after the early-October recovery attempt ran out of steam. The token had pushed toward the $0.0000060 area earlier in the month, met heavy supply there and rolled over, and its inability to hold above $0.0000052 has left sellers in charge of the short-term structure. Sustained closes under the moving averages have capped every rebound the token has attempted since the start of October. The nearest overhead marker is the psychological $0.0000050 line, with a denser selling band between $0.0000054 and $0.0000056 behind it. Below the market, the first watched floor sits near $0.0000048, and a deeper pullback would put the $0.0000044 area in view. That leaves the coin a step from the 2026 low at $0.00000480, and the SHIB technical analysis page tracks how those levels resolve as new flows land. For an altcoin holding this close to its yearly floor, a second deposit wave inside a week leaves little room for error. Any close back above $0.0000052 would be the first evidence that the deposit wave is being absorbed rather than sold. One supply-side counterpoint surfaced recently, when the burn rate jumped 428,862% in a single day, a mechanism that permanently removes tokens from circulation. Burn spikes of that size can tighten the float, yet 92 billion tokens staged on exchanges is a heavier near-term factor, and the sessions ahead will show which force carries more weight.

Coinbase Lists Ripple's RLUSD on Ethereum (ETH) With 1:1 Dollar Conversion• Coinbase added RLUSD to its retail app, Exchange and Prime on October 28. • RLUSD deposits and withdrawals are supported on Ethereum, XRP Ledger and Base. • Ripple said RLUSD exceeded $2.4 billion in market value since its December 2024 launch. RLUSD Opens on Coinbase Across Three Chains RLUSD, the dollar stablecoin issued by Ripple's regulated subsidiary, went live on Coinbase on October 28, with deposits and withdrawals accepted on XRP Ledger, Ethereum (ETH) and Base. The rollout spans the Coinbase retail app, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime, and the companies describe 1:1 conversion from US dollars and other supported dollar-denominated stablecoins. The October 28 rollout announcement also flags a later stage: RLUSD is due to reach Coinbase Global Exchange, including for collateral, with its conditions still unpublished. The token's design keeps the chain and the reserve apart: a transferable balance moves between wallets without a bank transfer for every transaction, while the assets behind it, dollar deposits, short-term US Treasuries and cash equivalents, sit with institutions off-chain. That setup differs from algorithmic stablecoins, whose pegs rely on on-chain incentives rather than segregated reserves. Issuance and redemption run on separate tracks. When an eligible customer supplies dollars for new tokens, outstanding supply and the reserve obligation rise together; when tokens are redeemed out of circulation, the obligation falls with them. Ethereum's role in the rollout is specific: it carries the stablecoin into the sector's largest smart-contract market, and Base extends it into an Ethereum layer 2 environment. XRP Ledger contributes its own payments and trading infrastructure. For a customer already on Coinbase, the listing removes a practical obstacle: there is no need for a separate venue just to acquire the token before sending it to a supported wallet or counterparty. Access, though, is one layer of how a stablecoin functions. An exchange screen can show a price near $1, yet the route back to dollars still runs through the issuer's redemption terms, the custodian's arrangements and the buyers present when a holder chooses to sell. A blockchain confirmation settles the transfer, not necessarily the payment behind it. Standard Custody Issues, BNY Holds the Reserves The institutions behind RLUSD divide the work. Standard Custody & Trust Company, Ripple's New York-regulated subsidiary, issues the token and handles its creation and redemption under the applicable terms. Ripple named BNY as primary reserve custodian in July 2025, placing the assets that back the coin with an established bank. Coinbase performs a third role, delivering trading, custody and conversion through customer accounts. Those roles stay separate when something breaks. A delayed withdrawal is a platform problem even while the issuer's reserve remains intact, and trouble with a reserve asset is not cured by an exchange continuing to process transfers. Custody of the reserves also does not give every holder a personal bank account or a deposit guarantee; a holder's rights follow the issuer and platform terms. Ripple says RLUSD has passed $2.4 billion in market value since its December 2024 launch. That number counts tokens outstanding across the market, not the money Coinbase customers added on the first day: existing holders can deposit tokens at a new venue with no new issuance. Trading volume is a different measure again, since the same RLUSD can change hands repeatedly while outstanding supply stays flat. Credit views have tracked the reserve composition. Moody's assigned RLUSD P-1 short-term and A2 long-term ratings, citing reserves held primarily in US Treasuries and cash, as the ratings announcement set out. Three networks raise accounting questions of their own. Shifting supply between chains through an authorised process does not increase the total dollar obligation, while an independent bridged version adds contracts and counterparties of its own, a distinction that users of cross-chain bridges deal with routinely. Address formats also differ between networks even when they look alike, so a sender must pick the correct asset and chain at both ends. Ripple has committed to provide liquidity on Base, though the announcement does not quantify the support. And the exit routes differ: a market sale depends on live orders and can drift from $1 when liquidity thins, while direct redemption depends on eligibility checks, minimum amounts and banking hours. Coinbase's published 1:1 conversion adds a third path, subject to the platform's own rules on qualifying assets and jurisdictions. For Ethereum, the practical reading is distribution rather than fresh demand. The listing places a regulated dollar token where much of the sector's settlement activity already sits, and planned collateral support on Coinbase Global Exchange would give institutions a reason to hold RLUSD beyond payments, once margin trading rules that remain undisclosed are published. The binding limit sits at the last mile: however many chains the token reaches, conversion back to usable dollars still depends on the issuer's eligibility terms and banking operations, and a confirmed on-chain transfer does not shorten that route.

Coinbase Lists Ripple's RLUSD on Ethereum (ETH) With 1:1 Dollar Conversion

• Coinbase added RLUSD to its retail app, Exchange and Prime on October 28.
• RLUSD deposits and withdrawals are supported on Ethereum, XRP Ledger and Base.
• Ripple said RLUSD exceeded $2.4 billion in market value since its December 2024 launch.
RLUSD Opens on Coinbase Across Three Chains
RLUSD, the dollar stablecoin issued by Ripple's regulated subsidiary, went live on Coinbase on October 28, with deposits and withdrawals accepted on XRP Ledger, Ethereum (ETH) and Base. The rollout spans the Coinbase retail app, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime, and the companies describe 1:1 conversion from US dollars and other supported dollar-denominated stablecoins. ICE to Bring Hyperliquid (HYPE) Perpetual Futures to US After $650B Trade.xyz VolumeICE and Trade.xyz Plan US Venue Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent of the New York Stock Exchange, is partnering with Trade.xyz to build a regulated US market for perpetual futures on Hyperliquid infrastructure, pending approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The Hyperliquid (HYPE) price initially pushed toward $86 after the announcement, and our live monitoring shows the token up 7.7% over the past 24 hours; traders tracking levels can follow our Hyperliquid technical analysis. ICE is also taking a strategic equity stake in Trade.xyz, though the companies did not disclose the size of the investment, the ownership share ICE will receive, or when the planned market could begin operating. Perpetual futures let traders bet on whether an asset's price will rise or fall without the contract ever expiring; they are heavily traded in crypto, but mostly on offshore venues that US investors cannot use. In its announcement, the companies' joint post on X described the project as an effort to bring those products into the American regulated derivatives market, saying innovation and the protections of US regulation “shouldn’t be a trade-off.” The venue would offer contracts tied to stocks, equity indexes, commodities, foreign exchange and crypto through participating brokers and trading platforms. Clearing, the back-end system that ensures trades settle, would be rebuilt for US customers, and the companies plan to introduce know-your-customer checks and anti-money-laundering controls while using Hyperliquid technology for continuous, around-the-clock trading. Several points remain open. Neither company has named the registered exchange or clearing entity that would run the market, and the plan does not establish whether it would use an existing designated contract market license or seek new approvals. Trade.xyz will keep operating its existing Hyperliquid HIP-3 markets independently while the US business moves through the regulatory process, and it did not specify whether HYPE would serve as collateral or carry any additional role in the proposed market. Payward's Separate US Proposal Trade.xyz, the largest builder of markets on Hyperliquid, brings an established track record. Its markets have processed more than $650 billion in cumulative trading volume in just over a year, and data compiled by the Hyperliquid Research Collective shows $202.36 billion traded in the second quarter of 2026, with equity-linked contracts accounting for $58.9 billion of that. The platform provides continuous price exposure to traditional assets during hours when stock and futures exchanges are closed. On Tuesday, it launched NIFTY 50 perpetual futures tracking India's benchmark equity index, supporting margin trading with leverage of up to 20 times and settling profits and losses in USDC. Billionaire investor Stan Druckenmiller is among a small group of investors joining the ICE initiative, though individual commitments were not disclosed. For readers still weighing the platform, COINOTAG maintains a practical guide to trading on Hyperliquid. ICE chief executive Jeffrey Sprecher had already signaled interest in the technology: in May he said the company had discussed blockchain-based perpetual futures with regulators and met Hyperliquid representatives to study the trading system. The partnership is not the only US proposal on the table. On Monday, Hyperliquid outlined a plan from Kraken parent Payward under which its CFTC-regulated Bitnomial business would create and administer selected contracts on a permissioned version of HIP-3 infrastructure, with NinjaTrader Clearing maintaining customer accounts and participation restricted through approved access lists. As detailed in Payward's US perpetual futures plan, that structure names the regulated entities responsible for exchange operations, clearing and customer access, which the ICE announcement does not. The two proposals remain separate, and neither confirms that US customers can begin trading Hyperliquid-based contracts today. What the Deal Leaves Unpriced Our reading: the announcement pushes Hyperliquid's HIP-3 stack toward regulated US distribution rather than offshore-only contract trading, a shift that could eventually route American derivatives flow through the network's infrastructure. Two competing proposals in under a week suggest exchange operators see US perpetuals as the next competitive battleground, with Hyperliquid's rails as shared plumbing for both. But everything on the table is pending CFTC approval, and neither plan assigns HYPE a collateral or fee role, so the token's economics stay unchanged until contracts actually go live. The 7.7% price gain reflects positioning on that prospect, not confirmed volumes, and the first test comes when either venue discloses its launch path.

What the Deal Leaves Unpriced
Our reading: the announcement pushes Hyperliquid's HIP-3 stack toward regulated US distribution rather than offshore-only contract trading, a shift that could eventually route American derivatives flow through the network's infrastructure.

XRP Ledger Activity Hits 2026 High at 32,604 Active Accounts• XRP Ledger active accounts reached 32,604 on October 27, the highest reading of 2026. • The 30-day average of active accounts stands at 19.4K. • Activity collapsed to nearly 4,000 accounts in late August and early September. Active Accounts Reach 32,604 XRP Ledger activity climbed to its highest reading of the year on Tuesday, October 27, when daily active accounts, the unique senders on the network, reached 32,604. That count sits well above the 30-day average of 19.4K and marks the busiest day the XRP Ledger has recorded since the start of 2026. The XRP price is moving the other way: the token trades near $1.29, down 2.6% over the past 24 hours, and has slid since early October, when it changed hands close to $1.50. The market has not followed the ledger higher. Our composite support and resistance scoring puts the strongest overhead barrier at $1.3401, scored 100 out of 100, where the 20-day and 100-day exponential moving averages meet the first pivot resistance; the nearest floor is $1.2536, scored 95 out of 100, and it lines up with the $1.25 zone buyers have defended twice. Spot trades near $1.29 at this writing, marginally higher than when the activity figures were published. Positioning leans long: open interest stands at $909 million and the long/short account ratio reads 3.81, with 79.2% of accounts long, while the RSI at 39.64 and a sideways trend classification confirm the momentum gap between usage and price. Sentiment sits in the middle, with the crypto fear and greed index reading 51 out of 100. For most of the past year, daily active accounts held between 13K and 20K. A handful of short spikes lifted the count above 30K, but each faded within days. The latest jump is wider and cleaner than those moves, and it follows a deep trough in late August and early September, when activity collapsed to nearly 4,000 accounts. The all-time high of 106K active accounts, set in an earlier cycle, still stands far above both the October peak and the current level. The Usage-Price Divergence The surge is already cooling. The most recent reading has eased to 30.5K, down 6.3% in 24 hours, with the count pulling back sharply toward 18K. Even after that retreat, the ledger is carrying materially more daily users than it did a few weeks ago, when numbers sat near the bottom of the yearly band. On the chart, the token now trades below its 50-day and 100-day moving averages near $1.33 and $1.36, and the 200-day average close to $1.37 sits overhead too, leaving three layers of resistance between the market and any recovery. Buyers have defended the $1.25 zone twice in recent weeks; below it, the next areas are $1.20 and the August breakout band near $1.10 to $1.15. Our XRP technical analysis tracks these levels in real time. Higher active accounts can reflect more senders settling payments, trading or moving funds across venues, and that pattern, taken alone, supports the network's long-term case. Ripple, the ledger's main commercial backer, has been building the usage story around a projected $900M product revenue run-rate for the year. Short-term price behavior, however, has never tracked ledger activity one for one. Spikes in accounts can come from bots, airdrop claims or one-off events, and every prior peak this year faded within days, dropping the count back inside its old band. The infrastructure side keeps broadening as well: the XRP Ledger Foundation recently expanded its 35-validator list with Flare, which strengthens the network's base without moving the tape. For XRP to turn bullish, price has to reclaim the 50-day average near $1.33 and then the 200-day close to $1.37, levels that have turned back every rally since early October. Trading volume has stayed low through the decline, which suggests the sell-off has been orderly rather than panic-driven, but it also means buyers have not committed size. The reading above holds only while activity stays elevated: if daily active accounts cool back into the 13K-to-20K band, the way earlier spikes did, while price loses the $1.25 support, the usage argument loses its force and the sideways trend simply extends. A sustained hold above 30K combined with a reclaim of $1.33 would be the first sign that the busy ledger is finally being priced in.

Bitcoin (BTC) Trades at 0.42% Kimchi Premium on Korean Exchanges Thursday• Bitcoin (BTC) carried a 0.42% average kimchi premium over Binance on four Korean exchanges on Thursday. • Upbit printed the largest BTC premium at 0.43%; Bithumb, Coinone and DigitalX each quoted 0.42%. • BTC averaged 107.59 million won domestically against 107.14 million won for the Binance quote. Bitcoin Premium Hits 0.42% in Seoul At 18:30 Korea time, or 09:30 UTC, on Thursday, Bitcoin (BTC) changed hands on South Korea's four major won exchanges at an average premium of 0.42% over Binance, with every one of the four venues quoting above the global price. According to DigitalAsset, which compiles the regular kimchi premium snapshot, the Bitcoin price averaged 107.59 million won across Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone and DigitalX, against 107.14 million won for the Binance quote after conversion at the Bank of Korea's ECOS rate for the day. The difference of about 450,000 won per coin is the kimchi premium, the standard gauge of how far won-denominated Bitcoin demand runs ahead of global supply. The snapshot is drawn on a fixed schedule through the Korean session and compares each domestic quote with the Binance price converted at the official won-dollar rate, so the averages describe the same asset on both sides at the same moment. A positive print means Korean buyers paid more than the world price, and because all four books carried the same sign at the same minute, the gap points to a market-wide bid rather than venue-specific buying. Upbit printed the largest BTC gap at 0.43%, while Bithumb, Coinone and DigitalX each landed on 0.42%, a spread of one hundredth of a percentage point across the four venues. Gopax Excluded From the Average Gopax also priced BTC 0.43% above Binance, in line with its larger peers, but the compiler left it out of the averages because its thinner books make the premium swing widely, and the exclusion applies to every coin, not only Bitcoin. The venue's Ethereum (ETH) quote told the same story from the other side: it printed -0.57%, the only negative number in the whole table, and low trading volume is the reason such outliers carry little signal. Away from Bitcoin, the altcoin gaps ran slightly wider. Ethereum led at 0.48%, with a domestic average of 3,115,500 won set against 3,100,601 won for the Binance quote. XRP followed at 0.46%, its 1,735 won domestic price set against 1,727 won globally. USDT, the dollar-pegged stablecoin quoted in won, averaged 0.41% at 1,342 won, its Binance equivalent 1,337 won. That figure is watched closely in Seoul because tethers are usually the first purchase a Korean buyer makes before moving into coins, so a positive USDT premium reads as broad-based won-side demand rather than a single-coin trade. With every major coin inside a band of 0.41% to 0.48%, the local books are holding close to the world price. The session's reading suggests the Korean market's long habit of buying and holding, known in crypto shorthand as HODL, is showing up as a small, steady premium rather than a squeeze, and gaps of this size sit well below the several-percent levels past Korean rallies have produced. Spot Bitcoin traded at $80,308 at the time of writing, up 0.1% since the 09:30 UTC snapshot but still down 1.6% across 24 hours, so the local premium sits on a market that is near flat rather than rallying. Our composite scoring puts the nearest overhead barrier at $81,947, scored 96 out of 100, with the strongest support underneath at $79,265, scored 79/100. Positioning is balanced rather than stretched: the perpetual funding rate reads 0.0034% and the long/short account ratio stands at 2.34, with 70.1% of accounts long. As price stays inside that $79,265 to $81,947 band, this narrow premium looks set to persist, and the composite trend signal still reads a downtrend, a condition the 1.6% net loss of the past day leaves intact. Solana (SOL) ETFs Post $24.82 Million Net Outflow Over Two Days• US spot Solana ETFs posted $24.82 million net outflows across Oct 27 and Oct 28. • Solana dipped to $99.29 intraday on Oct 29 against a session high of $102.51. • Oct 27 outflows totaled $19.2 million through GSOL; Oct 28 saw $5.7 million leave BSOL. Two Days of ETF Redemptions Net outflows of $24.82 million left US spot Solana exchange-traded funds across the Oct 27 and Oct 28 US trading days, according to published fund-flow tables. A single-day split of $19.2 million on Oct 27 and $5.7 million on Oct 28 makes up the total, and the product flagged in the outflow column changed by day: GSOL on the 27th, BSOL on the 28th. The Solana (SOL) price dipped to an intraday low of $99.29 on Oct 29, recovered through the $100 mark and last changed hands at $100.22, still down 2.6% over the past 24 hours. A net outflow means redemptions exceeded creations on the trading day in question; it is not a count of spot-market sell volume and says nothing about who redeemed or why. That distinction matters as the funds, built to carry traditional finance exposure to SOL through brokerage accounts, have become one of the most closely watched gauges for the Solana ecosystem since their debut. The Oct 29 session also printed a high of $102.51, so the intraday range stretched more than $3 from trough to peak. Flow tables round their figures to one decimal place in millions, which is why the rounded daily rows do not reproduce the reported two-day total exactly. The timing mismatch runs the other way too: fund flows are tallied on US trading days while SOL trades around the clock, so overlapping dates alone cannot pin the dip on the redemptions. The two outflow products were not the same fund, which suggests redemptions spread across issuers rather than concentrating in one wrapper. What the tables do establish is direction, two straight sessions of net money leaving the funds, at a moment when the coin is pressing against the lower end of its recent range. The market sits between two heavily scored levels. Our composite ranking scores the support at $98.43 a full 100 out of 100, with resistance at $103.40 close behind at 99, so the corridor SOL occupies is narrow and clearly defined. Momentum reads weak: the trend flag shows a downtrend, RSI at 35.65 sits well below the midpoint, and the MACD signal is bearish. Positioning leans long. Open interest stands near $2.10 billion and the long/short account ratio reads 3.73, so roughly 79% of accounts hold long positions while price drifts lower. A break under $98.43 would turn questions about a renewed bear market into live ones; holding it keeps the range intact. The full Solana technical analysis page tracks every scored level. Daily Closes Held Above $100 The daily record shows how narrow the escapes have been. Oct 27 printed a low of $99.20, a high of $101.88 and a close of $101.37, so the session traded under the round number but finished above it. Oct 28 stayed firmer with a low of $100.50 and a close of $102.43, the only one of the three sessions whose low never tested $100. Oct 29 broke back under, printing a low of $99.29 against a high of $102.51 before a real-time reading at 17:25 Korea time put the price at $100.06. Intraday readings and closes are different records, and neither of the two completed sessions closed below $100. Earlier this month a $19.16 million single-day outflow, the worst since December, had already flagged redemption pressure in these funds, and Bitwise's BSOL fund has appeared in the outflow column before. Chart readings published on Oct 26 put the 200-day EMA at $98.27 and the 50-day EMA at $105.99; an EMA weights recent prices more heavily than a simple average, so its value shifts with the venue and reference time it is drawn on. The $98.27 line sits just under the strongest scored support at $98.43, which gives that floor an additional layer. SOL now trades at $100.22, roughly midway between the $98.43 support and the $103.40 resistance that bound the short-term range, and both the floor and the EMA below it have to hold for the current position to survive. Investors who prefer direct ownership to fund wrappers can review buy Solana in the US, though the ETF flow record, not retail buying, is what this week's tape has turned on.

ChangeNOW Casts Payments as Super App Hook Across Four TOKEN2049 Panels• ChangeNOW hosted four panel discussions at TOKEN2049 Singapore on October 7 and 8. • TOKEN2049 Singapore drew roughly 25,000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 300 speakers. • Rubic co-founder Aleksandra Korneva said swap users lack a reason to transact daily. Payments as the Daily Hook ChangeNOW built its presence at TOKEN2049 Singapore around four panel discussions that kept returning to one question: what gives a crypto product a reason to be opened every day. The company's answer, shared by several speakers, was payments. The event ran at Marina Bay Sands on October 7 and 8, with organizers counting roughly 25,000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 300 speakers. In the super app panel, Rubic co-founder Aleksandra Korneva noted that many swap users have no reason to transact daily, since an exchange is a task rather than a habit. Pulsar Money CEO Alex Radu identified payments and trading as the two foundations for apps that combine several financial services. “They just want to transact in a safe and secure and cheap way,” Korneva said. ChangeNOW's Chief Strategy Officer Pauline Shangett told the same discussion that payments are one potential foundation for these apps. Not everyone accepted the everything-app framing: CoinRoutes' Michelle Herman argued that specialized services still have a role and stressed protecting customer information and delivering reliable execution over breadth. A separate session on audience growth examined how users will find such products as AI tools reshape search. Media participants said they are investing more in interviews, podcasts and direct reader relationships as search traffic becomes harder to depend on. CoinEasy offered a local counterpoint, saying its Korean community and domestic search presence had limited the impact so far, while it works through AI tools, offline events and physical products. ChangeNOW itself began as a no-KYC crypto exchange and now positions itself as a super app that folds swapping, storage, spot trading and other tools into one place. Keynote, Wallets and Infrastructure Shangett's Bit Digital Stage keynote, titled “Next Billion Users Should Never Touch Blockchain,” argued that people should be able to use crypto without picking networks, managing gas or moving between separate services. The wallet session, moderated by Kelvin Sparks at the ChangeNOW booth, then took up how much of a transaction an app should handle for its users. Yana, ChangeNOW's Head of Business Development and Account Management, said users should not have to think about gas or pass through several steps to switch networks when much of that can run in the background. MetaMask's representative described AI agents that execute transactions on a user's behalf. Trezor software product lead Denis described exploring how a hardware device could let users approve agent-initiated actions, a design that keeps the private key away from connected machines, and cautioned against hiding every detail behind a simpler interface, saying information should stay available when users need it. The infrastructure session brought together Banxa, RocketX, WalletConnect and Aztec Labs on transaction routing, privacy and collaboration between specialized providers. WalletConnect's Diana Alexandrova argued that everyday payments should not demand technical expertise: “They don't have to be cryptographers.” Aztec Labs pointed to privacy as a requirement for wider adoption, noting businesses would not want employee payments visible to the public. Banxa called for cooperation among specialized infrastructure providers, and RocketX described pulling liquidity from different sources into a unified interface. ChangeNOW also used the event to show a co-branded cold wallet with CoolWallet, carrying ChangeNOW as the exclusive in-app swap provider, and journalist Ramia Farrage recorded NOW Effect interviews with representatives of Stellar, Injective, NEAR Intents, USDD, Sonic and Zcash covering cross-border payments, stablecoins, privacy and blockchain usability. The company said the panels and interviews were recorded for release as part of its TOKEN2049 coverage. The two threads point at the same constraint. The builders on stage agreed that token swaps are episodic and that payments would give a wallet a daily job, which is why Shangett named payments a foundation rather than an add-on. The unresolved part is trust. An interface that hides gas, networks and steps must still show users enough to catch an agent doing something they did not intend, and the Trezor proposal to approve agent-initiated actions on a hardware device is one attempt at that balance. For now the outputs are recordings, a co-branded wallet and a positioning claim; whether payments-grade everyday use arrives in these apps is what the next product releases will test.

ChangeNOW Casts Payments as Super App Hook Across Four TOKEN2049 Panels

• ChangeNOW hosted four panel discussions at TOKEN2049 Singapore on October 7 and 8.
• TOKEN2049 Singapore drew roughly 25,000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 300 speakers.
• Rubic co-founder Aleksandra Korneva said swap users lack a reason to transact daily.
Payments as the Daily Hook
ChangeNOW built its presence at TOKEN2049 Singapore around four panel discussions that kept returning to one question: what gives a crypto product a reason to be opened every day.
Keynote, Wallets and Infrastructure
Shangett's Bit Digital Stage keynote, titled “Next Billion Users Should Never Touch Blockchain,” argued that people should be able to use crypto without picking networks, managing gas or moving between separate services.
OpenTrade Names Ex-SWIFT CEO Campos Chairman With TVL at $300 Million• OpenTrade named former SWIFT CEO Lazaro Campos chairman on Friday. • OpenTrade reports $300 million total value locked, up from $200 million in May. • The platform processed over $1 billion in transactions across the past 12 months. Campos Takes the OpenTrade Chair OpenTrade, the London-based stablecoin yield infrastructure firm, has appointed former SWIFT chief executive Lázaro Campos as chairman of its board. The company announced the appointment on Friday, nearly six months after closing a $17 million funding round to expand operations. Alongside the move, OpenTrade disclosed operating figures that have moved sharply since spring: the platform has cleared more than $1 billion in transactions across the past year, and assets deposited across its vaults, the firm's total value locked, now stand at $300 million. In May, when that round was announced, the company reported just over $200 million locked and $250 million in volume processed over the preceding year. Chief executive David Sutter said Campos will help expand the firm's services as more financial companies adopt stablecoins. Mercury Fund and Notion Capital led that May round, with a16z crypto, AlbionVC and CMCC Global also participating; cumulative funding has reached $32 million. OpenTrade, founded in 2023, sells a product that lets fintechs, exchanges, digital wallets and internet banks offer dollar- and euro-denominated returns on stablecoin balances without assembling their own investment and custody systems, connecting through an API. The returns are backed by real-world assets and blockchain-based strategies held in separate vaults, a structure distinct from an ETF; each vault carries its own underlying assets, withdrawal conditions and a variable APY. Some vaults require a withdrawal notice period, processing can take up to two business days, and the company states that past performance does not guarantee future returns. The organization operates as a messaging layer rather than a settlement layer: it transmits payment instructions between banks, and the distinction matters because stablecoins collapse messaging and settlement into one tokenized rail. His wider record sits in the same territory. He served on the Bank of England's RTGS infrastructure board and on the board of CHAPS, the Clearing House Automated Payment System, held a seat at digital bank Starling and currently chairs Payoneer Europe. Stablecoins are the next chapter, and yield is what makes them useful to businesses and the people they serve,” Campos said in the announcement. The chairmanship was not a complete surprise: OpenTrade's chief executive had already described Campos as the firm's incoming chairman in an interview published on September 17, so the formal confirmation arriving today follows that earlier disclosure. The May funding was earmarked for permissioned and permissionless infrastructure, tailored vault services and staffing, giving the new chairman a mandate over an expansion already in progress. Tokenized dollar balances sitting in yield vaults compete for the same working capital that today idles in nostro accounts, which is where a career spent optimizing bank messaging becomes commercially relevant. Deposit Growth Since May The deposit curve matters more than the title. The firm's vault information page displays over $1.5 billion in processed trading volume, but that figure carries no stated aggregation window, so the 12-month number is the cleaner read. For a company that has raised $32 million and sells yield access through an API, the test is whether institutions that settle over SWIFT-style rails keep stablecoin balances in yield-bearing form at scale. Campos's regulatory and clearing-system history is aimed at exactly that buyer, and the trend since May supports the pitch.

OpenTrade, the London-based stablecoin yield infrastructure firm, has appointed former SWIFT chief executive Lázaro Campos as chairman of its board. Career on the Payment Rails
Campos joined SWIFT in 1987 and led the network as chief executive from April 2007 until June 2012. SWIFT is the member-owned cooperative that carries financial messages between more than 11,000 institutions worldwide and moves up to $1.5 quadrillion a year; under Campos, its transaction volumes nearly doubled.
Deposit Growth Since May
The deposit curve matters more than the title. Deposits rose roughly 50% in six months, from just over $200 million to $300 million, while annual processed volume climbed from $250 million to more than $1 billion, a pattern that suggests existing clients are routing additional balance through the vaults rather than arriving in a single wave.
Fresh Wallet Opens 5x Monero (XMR) Long Worth $1.77M• A fresh wallet deposited 4 million USDC on Hyperliquid and took a 5x long covering 3,000 XMR. • The 3,000 XMR long is worth about $1.77 million at entry near $590. • Monero slipped below $600, a level buyers had defended for several sessions. 4M USDC Funds a 5x XMR Long A freshly created wallet address deposited 4 million USDC on Hyperliquid early on Thursday and took a 5x long position covering 3,000 XMR, exposure worth roughly $1.77 million at entry. Derivatives records show the address was created shortly before the deposit and carried no prior trading history, which is why the fill drew attention: fresh wallets of this size rarely appear in Monero markets. The timing frames the trade. The coin slipped under $600 hours earlier, a level buyers had defended for several sessions, and the latest daily candle closed below it. Monero price now trades near $590 after a push toward $657 drew a fast rejection and the market settled into a sideways band between $580 and $620. The position is built with leverage rather than an outright purchase: instead of buying 3,000 coins on the spot trading market, the trader posted margin against a 5x long, the structure known as margin trading on a perpetual venue. Only about $1.77 million of the 4 million USDC credited to the account is committed to the position, which leaves more than half of the deposit idle as spare margin. Had the same notional been filled near the recent $657 high, the exposure would have run closer to $1.97 million, so the fill near $590 bought the long at a discount to the weekly peak. At 5x, the notional moves with every tick of the coin price, and the account carries no coin exposure on the collateral side because it is funded in USDC. The break of $600 has not ended the larger uptrend. Monero has been one of the strongest recovery stories of 2026: the coin climbed from roughly $320 in July and came close to doubling that value since. Every major moving average still rises and sits well below the market, so the longer trend has not bent even as the recent daily candles turned red. The nearest support is $577, followed by a cluster between $552 and $557, then deeper shelves at about $505 and $453, where the longer averages keep trending upward. The $577 line sits close to the $602 support test that followed Kraken's withdrawal questioning, so the level already carries prior market attention. Traders treat $577 as the line that keeps the trend intact: a hold there and a reclaim of $600 would point to another test of the $620 to $660 zone, while a close under $577 hands the market the $552 cluster as the next target. The gap between $577 and $552 gives sellers two shots before the deeper $505 shelf comes into play. Volume tells a mixed story alongside those levels. Buying flow was strong during the run toward $620, but it thinned during the latest dip, and lighter turnover on a pullback usually marks a pause rather than a reversal. The Monero technical analysis picture is rounded out by the RSI, a momentum gauge scored from 0 to 100, which reads near 55, down from the overheated readings of September, leaving momentum cooled without turning weak. How Safe Is the 5x Long? The margin math is the point of this trade. Under $1.8 million of the 4 million USDC deposit backs the long, which places the liquidation price far below a $590 market, and the idle balance behind it means an ordinary daily swing cannot force the position closed. That profile belongs to a trader prepared to hold through volatility, not one flipping for a quick bounce. One wallet does not decide direction, and large holders close positions as quickly as they open them, but the bet lands in a market some desks have already tipped to outperform Bitcoin into year-end. The venue side adds its own clock: a leveraged position on a perpetual market accrues funding costs for as long as it stays open. For now the 3,000 XMR sit as a 5x long inside the fresh Hyperliquid account, liquidation distant beneath a $590 market, and that is where the position rests until its next mark.

WTI Crude Oil (CL) Chart Forms Pennant Near $102 With Direction Unresolved• WTI crude oil chart compresses into a pennant with highs and lows converging near $102 per barrel. • EIA put Cushing WTI spot at $103.37 per barrel on Oct 27. • EIA's Oct 6 outlook raised the Q4 2026 Brent average forecast to $105 per barrel. A Pennant Near $102 WTI crude oil (CL) has spent recent weeks compressing on the chart. The gap between the contract's highs and lows, which stretched wide through March and April, has narrowed until both edges converge near $102 per barrel. Technical traders use the term pennant for exactly this shape: price swings contract and successive peaks and troughs draw closer together. The pattern on its own settles nothing. It does not say which way price exits the formation, and it offers no read on whether any level survives once price moves through it. A market analysis published on Oct 29 set out two conditional paths from this setup. An upside break above the upper line of the narrowed range would, on that account, revive inflation concern and push bond yields higher, a combination that could weigh on risk assets including stocks and Bitcoin (BTC). The mirror scenario runs below $93 per barrel: a fall under that line would ease price pressure and could prove friendlier to risk assets. Both routes rest on chart behavior rather than a fundamentals call, and both stay hypothetical until price actually moves. Three cautions frame the numbers. The $102 and $93 marks are technical references drawn on the WTI chart, not Bitcoin price targets. An upside break describes the moment price crosses the top of the narrowed band, and it reveals nothing about whether the level holds afterward. Measurement adds a further check: EIA data put Cushing WTI spot at $103.37 per barrel on Oct 27, already above the $102 line, but the published chart named no contract month, so a spot print above the reference does not by itself confirm that the breakout has occurred. EIA Forecast and Fed Hold The energy agency's own data underpin the inflation leg of that reasoning. In its Short-Term Energy Outlook released on Oct 6, the EIA projected Brent crude would average $105 per barrel in the fourth quarter of 2026, $14 above the prior month's forecast, on an assumption that Middle East crude supply constraints persist through the quarter. The inputs were finalized on Oct 1, so the outlook does not capture market developments after that date. Measurement also matters here: a quarterly Brent average and a WTI chart price with no stated contract month are different objects, so the $105 forecast and the $102 chart reference cannot be compared on one baseline. The Federal Reserve supplied the rates leg. In a statement on Oct 28, the Fed held the federal funds target range at 3.75%-4%. The vote split 10 to 2, with governor Lisa Cook and Cleveland Fed president Beth Hammack preferring a 0.25 percentage point increase, meaning two members wanted tighter policy rather than a pause. The committee described inflation as still elevated, while stopping short of presenting the hold as an oil-driven call. The oil chart reaches the Bitcoin market through that channel rather than through any direct price link between crude and the token. If oil moves inflation and bond yield expectations, the reasoning runs, judgments around risk assets shift with them, because higher expected yields raise the bar for assets priced on future cash flows. The same analysis noted that Bitcoin, the largest crypto asset by market cap, has recently traded more like technology stocks than digital gold, though it disclosed no methodology for the comparison. Between that observation and the oil chart alone, no firm direction for Bitcoin follows. The live tape puts crude at $101.49, up 0.1% over the past 24 hours, inside a daily uptrend whose MACD signal reads bullish and whose 14-day RSI stands at 61.9. COINOTAG's composite scoring rates the $100.69 support, a stack of a swing low, a Fibonacci retracement and the point-of-control level, at 100 out of 100, while the $104.78 resistance built from the upper Bollinger band and R2 scores 72 out of 100. Price is holding between the two. A daily close above $104.78 would support the breakout scenario set out above, while losing $100.69 would hand the argument to the bearish path. The uptrend stands as long as $100.69 holds.

WTI Crude Oil (CL) Chart Forms Pennant Near $102 With Direction Unresolved

• WTI crude oil chart compresses into a pennant with highs and lows converging near $102 per barrel.
• EIA put Cushing WTI spot at $103.37 per barrel on Oct 27.
• EIA's Oct 6 outlook raised the Q4 2026 Brent average forecast to $105 per barrel.
A Pennant Near $102
WTI crude oil (CL) has spent recent weeks compressing on the chart.
Measurement adds a further check: EIA data put Cushing WTI spot at $103.37 per barrel on Oct 27, already above the $102 line, but the published chart named no contract month, so a spot print above the reference does not by itself confirm that the breakout has occurred.
EIA Forecast and Fed Hold
The energy agency's own data underpin the inflation leg of that reasoning. In its Short-Term Energy Outlook released on Oct 6, the EIA projected Brent crude would average $105 per barrel in the fourth quarter of 2026, $14 above the prior month's forecast, on an assumption that Middle East crude supply constraints persist through the quarter. The oil chart reaches the Bitcoin market through that channel rather than through any direct price link between crude and the token. The same analysis noted that Bitcoin, the largest crypto asset by market cap, has recently traded more like technology stocks than digital gold, though it disclosed no methodology for the comparison. Trivolve Tech Seeks 9.6M ADA to Scale Cardano (ADA) Police Evidence System• Trivolve Tech and the Cardano Foundation filed a 9.6M ADA funding request on October 21. • Trivolve's Uttar Pradesh system logs about 11,000 mainnet transactions monthly, over 156,000 total. • The PFMS could add over 1.5M first-year transactions, lifting mainnet activity about 18.2%. A 9.6M ADA Ask Built on a Live System Cardano's treasury governance is weighing a 9.6 million ADA funding request to expand a blockchain evidence system that Indian police already run. Trivolve Tech, a development firm working with the Cardano Foundation, submitted the proposal on October 21, seeking community funds from the Cardano treasury for a Police Forensic Management System (PFMS), an open-source platform that secures evidence records across investigations, forensic laboratories, prosecution and court proceedings. The Cardano (ADA) price slipped 4.4% in the past 24 hours, extending a stretch in which the coin stabilized near $0.20 after a third straight red daily candle, the setup traders follow in Cardano technical analysis. The ask builds on infrastructure that is already live. Trivolve operates an evidence management system in Uttar Pradesh that writes the cryptographic hash of every scanned item to Cardano's proof-of-stake mainnet. The proposal states that the deployed system processes roughly 11,000 mainnet transactions a month and has logged more than 156,000 in total. Each scan generates a cryptographic fingerprint, and a separate identifier records every handler, so the custody history of any exhibit can be audited against the ledger. PFMS widens that method into five protected stages: pre-crime evidence, investigation, custody, prosecution and court records. Edge agents create hashes from camera footage, call records and court documents, bind them to device identity and officer credentials, and post the bundles to Cardano. Only the fingerprint is stored on-chain; evidence files and personal data never touch the ledger. Authorized parties can compare an exhibit against its on-chain fingerprint to see whether anyone altered a record, so a forged or swapped item would fail the check. Trivolve frames the work as widening an existing method rather than launching a new use case, extending tracking from evidence collection through court verification. The expansion plan, the projected transaction growth and the expected treasury revenue all depend on that result. 89.25% of DReps Have Not Voted The proposal itself is the primary record here, and its arithmetic is blunt: with 89.25% of delegated voting power uncast, the 67% approval bar is a turnout problem, not a settled sentiment reading. Our reading is that the treasury risk is modest by design, since the $2.88 million cap, the five milestone gates and the independent review limit exposure, while the projected 18.2% bump in mainnet activity sits within the headroom that Cardano's throughput work, including developers merging Leios into core code for 3-5x throughput, is meant to create. The wider significance is adoption rather than price: this is a court-grade entry in Cardano's push into real-world assets, where state institutions anchor records to a public ledger. The named participants stop at Trivolve, the Foundation and the two Indian states, and the proposal lists no others, so the roster is partial as reported. With the deadline fixed, the remaining window gives DReps just over three weeks to DYOR before the vote closes.

Trivolve Tech Seeks 9.6M ADA to Scale Cardano (ADA) Police Evidence System

• Trivolve Tech and the Cardano Foundation filed a 9.6M ADA funding request on October 21.
• Trivolve's Uttar Pradesh system logs about 11,000 mainnet transactions monthly, over 156,000 total.
• The PFMS could add over 1.5M first-year transactions, lifting mainnet activity about 18.2%.
A 9.6M ADA Ask Built on a Live System
Cardano's treasury governance is weighing a 9.6 million ADA funding request to expand a blockchain evidence system that Indian police already run. If approved, Telangana becomes the first PFMS deployment region, with the state government covering transaction fees, infrastructure and maintenance costs.

Y Combinator Lists Six Crypto Funding Areas With November 2 Deadline• Y Combinator visiting partner Nemil Dalal shared the Crypto Request for Startups on October 28 • The next application deadline is Monday, November 2, Pacific time • Y Combinator says institutions led crypto usage growth over the past year, not consumers Six Areas for Six Months Y Combinator has put its crypto funding priorities in writing. The accelerator published its Crypto Request for Startups this month, a document that sets out six areas it plans to emphasize for the next six months, and visiting partner Nemil Dalal presented it in an October 28 post on X. The six areas are AI-related capital raising, stablecoins, stablecoin-based neobanking, tokenization of real-world assets, trading platforms, and trading and API infrastructure built for AI agents. Each area comes with a working thesis. Blockchain-based fundraising is meant to serve the expanding capital needs of AI companies. Stablecoin products should reach users and merchants that traditional finance handles poorly. Tokenization should move equities, debt, commodities and property onto public chains. The agent theme assumes software will eventually trade on its own behalf, which is why API layers and fiat-to-crypto gateways sit alongside it. Dalal wrote that Y Combinator wants to fund more crypto startups solving these financial needs, and set the next application deadline for Monday, November 2, Pacific time. Y Combinator, the accelerator behind early Coinbase, Stripe, Airbnb and OpenAI teams, has run crypto-focused batches before, but this document is its most explicit statement of what it wants to back. The central claim concerns who is driving adoption. Over the past year, the text argues, growth in crypto usage was led for the first time by institutions rather than individual consumers, and by practical financial needs rather than speculation. That reading marks a break with earlier cycles, when retail speculation set the pace, and it explains why the list leans toward payments and market infrastructure rather than consumer apps. Two examples appear in the document: companies hedging exposure to crude oil price swings, and businesses moving corporate funds across borders quickly. Founders get little runway, since the deadline falls days after the announcement. Non-Dollar Stablecoins and Home Loans The themes carry more detail than the six-item summary suggests. On stablecoins, Y Combinator draws a line between two products: expanding the use of US dollar stablecoins among customers and merchants that banks serve poorly, with gamers named as one target group, and issuing safe stablecoins in currencies other than the dollar. The neobanking track addresses cross-border freelancers and companies doing business internationally, and asks founders to pair the product with sound risk management. Tokenization receives the longest treatment. YC names equities, debt instruments, commodities and home ownership as candidates, and predicts that startup shares and securities worth under $10,000 will be issued on chains, opening the way to on-chain trading, lending and derivatives services. One construction in the document would record home ownership as a non-fungible token, with capital raised on chains channelled into home loans. The trading theme calls for new venues and interfaces covering fresh assets, derivatives and specific regions; where users trade across chains, an atomic swap can settle the exchange without a custodian in the middle. The AI tracks cover blockchain-based capital raising for AI companies and infrastructure for autonomous agents: trading tools, gateways that convert between fiat and digital assets, and API layers. An agent that trades needs a crypto wallet of its own, and the infrastructure list points toward purpose-built AI crypto wallet tooling for that role. YC states that agents could become major participants in on-chain trading, lending and contract trading markets, and that blockchains could challenge traditional securities exchanges while stablecoins challenge incumbent banks. The document also extends a record. In September 2025, YC ran a Fintech 3.0 batch with Base, the Ethereum layer 2 network, and Coinbase Ventures, listing stablecoins, tokenization, trading and agents as focus areas. From the spring 2026 batch, startups could take the standard $500,000 check in USDC if they chose, and in April, prediction-market startup Totalis raised $500,000 from YC entirely in USDC, which the accelerator called its first investment made wholly in a stablecoin. The Institution Thesis For our desk, two threads in this document carry the most weight. The first is the institutional-led claim. If the past year's growth came from treasury operations and hedging rather than retail flows, the startups Y Combinator funds will be judged on settlement reliability and compliance rather than user growth curves, and the non-dollar stablecoin track is the clearest test of that thesis, since it assumes businesses outside the dollar zone want on-chain money of their own. The second is that the accelerator now runs its own capital on public chains: the USDC check option and the Totalis deal mean YC's own payments settle on-chain, aligning its operations with its advice. Applications close Monday, November 2, and the next batch will show which of the six themes actually pulled builders in.

Y Combinator Lists Six Crypto Funding Areas With November 2 Deadline

• Y Combinator visiting partner Nemil Dalal shared the Crypto Request for Startups on October 28
• The next application deadline is Monday, November 2, Pacific time
• Y Combinator says institutions led crypto usage growth over the past year, not consumers
Six Areas for Six Months
Y Combinator has put its crypto funding priorities in writing. Two examples appear in the document: companies hedging exposure to crude oil price swings, and businesses moving corporate funds across borders quickly. Founders get little runway, since the deadline falls days after the announcement.
Non-Dollar Stablecoins and Home Loans
The themes carry more detail than the six-item summary suggests.
The Institution Thesis
For our desk, two threads in this document carry the most weight.
Chainlink (LINK) Logs 18th Straight Day of Binance Outflows• LINK price fell 20.8% in October despite the outflow streak. • About 8.7 million LINK had flowed into Binance on a net basis before the withdrawals began. • All-exchange LINK reserves stood at 124.2 million tokens, near their pre-deposit level. 18 Days of Outflows From Binance Crypto exchange Binance has seen Chainlink (LINK) leave its wallets for 18 consecutive days, yet the Chainlink price has refused to confirm the flow signal: the token has shed 20.8% since the start of October and trades near $11.37 at the time of writing, down 3% over 24 hours. Persistent withdrawals from a centralized venue normally shrink the supply that can be sold at once, a setup bulls tend to read as patient accumulation ahead of a renewed bull market. Up close, this streak looks less conclusive. Netflow data tracks the difference between tokens deposited to and withdrawn from an exchange, so 18 negative days mean withdrawals outpaced deposits in every single session. The run also began after roughly 8.7 million LINK had flowed into Binance on a net basis, and analyst MorenoDV_ argued in his on-chain flow commentary that part of the exit may simply be that earlier deposit being redistributed across wallets, noting that steady withdrawals leave less LINK sitting on the venue. He cautioned against treating the withdrawals as proof of buying, writing that persistent outflows from the exchange point to shrinking token availability even as price kept falling, a sign the supply shift has yet to meet sustained demand. On-chain records show reserves across all exchanges have fallen back to 124.2 million LINK, close to the level that prevailed before the large deposit arrived. The open question is whether the 8.7 million tokens created exit liquidity that has now been withdrawn to safer storage, or whether they simply moved. MorenoDV_ listed the conditions that would make the flow signal constructive: withdrawals that continue, a steadier price and stronger spot demand. If lower lows keep printing instead, he reads the divergence as an early supply signal that stops short of a reversal. The composite level scoring on our own data frames how little room the market has left itself. Support at $10.89, where the 200-day EMA, the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement and the lower Keltner band converge, scores 95 out of 100, and LINK sits roughly 4% above it at $11.37. Resistance at $11.95 scores 99 out of 100, giving any rebound a firm ceiling nearby. Momentum agrees with the weak tape: RSI near 38, a bearish MACD reading and a near-zero perp funding rate of 0.0038% show neither side is paying up for leverage. A decisive daily close above $11.95, rather than the flow statistics, would be the first evidence the downtrend is ending. US ETF Demand Runs Dry US spot Chainlink ETFs give the cleanest daily read on whether fresh buyers have stepped in, and that tap has run dry. The funds recorded no net flows for 8 straight trading days, and their last move was an outflow of about $397,000 on October 16, after an early-month run that peaked with a $9.48 million inflow on October 9. Total net assets fell to $209.5 million on October 28, down from $249.4 million on September 28, a decline that mirrors the token's own slide. The reserve pattern is not new. On-chain data shows LINK exchange reserves spiked and drained in both April and June this year, and the rally after the June episode arrived only alongside outside catalysts. Those catalysts have a record: Standard Chartered set a $200 target for LINK by 2030 in August, and the Chainlink CCIP 2.0 upgrade followed in late September and carried the token above $15. Without a comparable catalyst, the calendar gives little help, since monthly return data puts the median November return for LINK at -10.5%. For LINK, an altcoin that still leans on spot demand rather than structured products, the absence of ETF inflows removes one traditional source of lift. Analyst levels frame the near term: resistance at $12.30 is the upside hurdle mapped by analyst Crypto Tice, support sits at $10.87 where analyst Crypto Patel confirmed a bullish flip, and CryptoBullet's buy zone at $9.50 to $10.50 comes next. LINK defended the 200-day moving average near $11.46 after an earlier 25% drop, a defense that did not survive October. Reserve levels remain a basic tokenomics input, since what sits on venues is what can reach the market at once; at 124.2 million LINK, sellers still hold room even after the drain. The full Chainlink technical analysis keeps these levels updated as price evolves, and the deepest re-entry band sits at $9.45 to $8.00 should the slide extend.

Ripple CEO Garlinghouse Calls 2026 Phenomenal for XRP on $900M Run-Rate• Garlinghouse predicts XRP will become the institutional gold standard for crypto payment rails. • Ripple projects roughly $900M in annualized product revenue by the end of 2026. • Ripple's financial infrastructure serves more than 1,700 institutions, corporations and enterprises. Garlinghouse Puts the Year on Record Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has called 2026 a “phenomenal” year for the company, citing a sharp rise in transaction and trading volume across its blockchain-based financial infrastructure. The statement went out in a public post on X, and it pairs the growth claim with a larger prediction: XRP could eventually become the institutional gold standard for crypto payment rails. The prediction will draw particular interest from anyone tracking the XRP price through Ripple’s biggest week of the year. Garlinghouse was explicit about the limits of the claim. XRP, he argued, does not need to carry every transaction that moves across Ripple’s rails for the business to work. “We think that XRP is very efficient in some use cases. Probably not in other use cases. But that’s ok,” he said. Even a small share of customer flows suits him. “That’s great. That still means that I am getting some of the pie,” he added, before noting that people get “a little fixated on how big the piece is and how big the pie is.” On substance the position is pragmatic rather than maximalist. Ripple intends to keep building around XRP where the asset is clearly advantageous because, in his words, it makes good business sense. The CEO, who has separately ruled out an XRP exit at the same event, owns the forecast outright: the token his company is built around is the one he expects institutions to standardize on. That is a bet on the token’s share of flows, not on total volume, and it is a distinction readers tracking Ripple and XRP should hold on to as the announcement stack below gets weighed. Ten Years of Swell, Plenty of Deals The timing is deliberate. Garlinghouse spoke from the 10th edition of Swell, Ripple’s flagship conference, running in New York City from Oct. 27 through Thursday, and the event has produced a dense stack of announcements. U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent sat down with Garlinghouse to discuss the future of digital assets and the American financial system, a headline session for the institutional crowd. Ripple also announced a partnership with Robinhood to broaden use cases for its RLUSD stablecoin and infrastructure, focused on institutional settlement, prime brokerage and treasury functions. The company deepened its collaboration with banking giant BNY, adding digital asset custody and tokenized trade finance built on XRP, RLUSD and the XRP Ledger. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency cleared what Ripple described as the final regulatory hurdle for Ripple National Trust Bank. Coinbase agreed to bring more RLUSD availability to its retail and institutional platforms, widening the reach of the crypto exchange listing that put RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, as covered in our report on the Coinbase listing of Ripple’s RLUSD. The growth numbers came attached. Per the company’s own disclosure, Ripple is on track to end 2026 with roughly $900M in annualized product revenue, the projection detailed in our earlier piece on the projected $900M product revenue run-rate. Customers and partners using multiple products from Ripple’s expanding line have grown 3x, and the company’s financial infrastructure now serves more than 1,700 institutions, corporations and enterprises. Away from the main stage, David Schwartz, Ripple’s CTO emeritus and a co-creator of the XRP Ledger, looked five years ahead. Asked where he sees XRP and Ripple by then, he predicted mass retail adoption and framed blockchain technology as headed toward the same prevalence and fundamentality in daily life as the internet, a trajectory that also feeds current work to cut XRP Ledger wallet costs. The Run-Rate Behind the Call The load-bearing number in this story is Ripple’s own. The roughly $900M annualized product revenue figure is a company projection, not an audited result, and the gold-standard call rests on it alongside the custody and banking approvals secured this week. Our reading: XRP’s exposure to that growth stays indirect unless the share of Ripple’s transaction flow that actually touches the token expands, which is exactly the concession Garlinghouse makes when he accepts a small slice of the pie. If Schwartz’s retail scenario plays out, everyday crypto wallet activity, not institutional settlement alone, would widen the token’s base. The prediction is his, the numbers are the company’s, and both now sit in the open for the altcoin market to test.

Ripple CEO Garlinghouse Calls 2026 Phenomenal for XRP on $900M Run-Rate

• Garlinghouse predicts XRP will become the institutional gold standard for crypto payment rails.
• Ripple projects roughly $900M in annualized product revenue by the end of 2026.
• Ripple's financial infrastructure serves more than 1,700 institutions, corporations and enterprises.
Garlinghouse Puts the Year on Record
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has called 2026 a “phenomenal” year for the company, citing a sharp rise in transaction and trading volume across its blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
That still means that I am getting some of the pie,” he added, before noting that people get “a little fixated on how big the piece is and how big the pie is.”
On substance the position is pragmatic rather than maximalist.
Ten Years of Swell, Plenty of Deals
The timing is deliberate.
The Run-Rate Behind the Call
The load-bearing number in this story is Ripple’s own.
Singapore Police Report S$3.5M Lost to Tampered Ledger Wallets• Police recorded the two cases since September 10, involving wallets bought from local retailers. • Mark Karpelès said a Ledger Flex bought at Singapore's airport contained a spy implant. • Ledger suspended sales across seven Southeast Asian markets on October 13. S$3.5 Million Lost to Tampered Devices Cryptocurrency users in Singapore have lost about S$3.5 million, roughly $2.7 million, to tampered Ledger hardware wallets bought from local retailers. In an advisory published on Wednesday, the Singapore Police Force said officers have recorded at least two cases since September 10. Preliminary investigations found that some affected units contained unauthorized hardware components capable of capturing a user's recovery phrase or private key, the credential that ultimately controls access to funds on the blockchain. A recovery phrase, typically 12 or 24 words generated during setup, acts as the master backup for the entire wallet. Police said the affected units had been physically modified so they could harvest sensitive information and enable unauthorized transfers. Once an attacker holds the complete phrase, the wallet can be recreated on another device and its balance moved without the owner's consent. Offline isolation is the core promise of a hardware wallet, which keeps keys out of reach of an internet-connected hot wallet setup; a physical implant defeats that protection from inside the sealed package. The force said it is in contact with Ledger, which is reviewing the affected cases while police inquiries continue. The S$3.5 million covers only cases reported in Singapore. It sits apart from an earlier regional estimate in which blockchain analysts put losses tied to compromised wallets above US$86 million, a total Ledger has said it cannot confirm, along with the number of users affected. The company has maintained that its own systems and direct sales channels were not implicated in the confirmed incidents, and police have not said where in the distribution chain the modifications took place. Karpelès Post Flags Airport Purchase The tampering case surfaced publicly on October 9, when reports of stolen funds accumulated around devices sold through CryptoBilis, an authorized Ledger reseller operating in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Days later, former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès said in a post that a Ledger Flex he bought at Singapore's airport contained a spy implant. Another user separately claimed to hold a tampered device purchased from IT retailer Challenger, and said Ledger later sent him a replacement. Devices linked to the police cases have been traced to a Metapod store at Changi Airport and a Challenger outlet at VivoCity. Ledger confirmed an unauthorized hardware implant in one affected wallet on October 10 and began examining other reported incidents involving devices bought through the same reseller. Its Donjon security team determined that the component could capture the 24-word recovery phrase shown during setup and transmit it to an attacker over an LTE cellular connection. The implant operated independently of the device's Secure Element, the chip designed to shield keys, and required no changes to the wallet's operating system. On October 13, Ledger asked resellers and distributors in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and Hong Kong to suspend sales and shipments while its review continued. Customers who bought devices from CryptoBilis in the previous 90 days were told not to initialize unused wallets, and those already using one were advised to shift their funds to another wallet with a newly generated phrase. The fallout has since spread beyond Southeast Asia: German electronics retailer MediaMarktSaturn halted Ledger sales across its stores and online channels on October 13 after a customer there reported an unauthorized component inside a device, though no funds were lost in that case. Read together, the two reports point to a compromise that lived in the distribution layer rather than in Ledger's production lines or infrastructure. The police advisory confirms hard losses in Singapore's retail channel, and the earlier analyst estimate above US$86 million hints the true scope may be wider still, even without a verified figure. The problem is not confined to one vendor either: on October 26, rival maker Keystone disclosed an authentication key breach that exposed data on 25,964 customers and forced the destruction of 18,835 devices, although it said recovery phrases and private keys stayed secure. Weeks of FUD around hardware wallets now rest on a documented police file and a named corporate response. Until the regional channel reopens, buyers should favor direct sales and brush up on the main hardware wallet security threats before initializing any device.

BNB Chain's Jenner Hardfork Makes Block Builders Reserve 5% of BSC Gas for Payments• BNB Chain activated the Jenner hard fork on BSC testnet on Thursday. • BEP-703 reserves 5% of each block's gas for payments, raisable to 10% by governance. • Stablecoins like USDT do not qualify for Payment Lane until governance adds them to an empty list. Block Builders Face a Reserved 5% Block builders assembling blocks on BNB Smart Chain's testnet must now set aside part of every block for payments, after BNB Chain activated the Jenner hard fork there on Thursday. The upgrade lands three changes at once: Payment Lane under BEP-703, millisecond block timestamps under BEP-706, and the dormant code for a compliant token standard under BEP-702. Of the three, only the payment reservation changes what builders do at the block-assembly stage today. Node operators and builders have already absorbed the change on testnet; wallets and merchant tooling see it only through which transactions get the reserved space. Every block on the chain carries a gas limit, the cap on how much computing work it can process. When a memecoin launch sends transaction volume snowballing, a merchant collecting a stablecoin payment can end up in the same queue as a bot firing swaps against a liquidity pool, a burst pattern reminiscent of MemeToro's $174,000 Stage 9 presale on the chain. Payment Lane, the mechanism introduced under BEP-703, reserves 5% of each block's gas for eligible payments by default. General transactions cannot use that space even when payment demand is low, while payments themselves can still compete for the remaining 95%. Governance can raise the reservation to a protocol maximum of 10%. Qualification is the current catch. Simple BNB transfers between wallets qualify automatically. Stablecoins such as USDT do not, at least not yet: they enter the lane only once governance adds them to an approved list, and that list has no entries today. BNB Chain drew these boundaries in its own Payment Lane explainer, which also confirms that mainnet timing will be announced separately. The change is protocol plumbing rather than a market event; any read on the BNB price follows only after mainnet activation and real payment traffic. Millisecond Clocks and Dormant CAS20 The second shipped feature, under BEP-706, addresses time. Until Jenner, smart contracts on BSC could read a block's timestamp only in whole seconds, which made anything shorter unenforceable. A trading app offering a quote valid for a fraction of a second could not set a sub-second expiry, so a price could stay usable after it should have lapsed. The new built-in tool reads block time to the millisecond. Developers have to opt in, contracts using the old seconds-based clock keep working as before, and blocks do not get faster; contracts simply get a more precise reading of the same clock. The third piece is CAS20, short for Compliant Asset Standard, shipped under BEP-702 as a token framework for issuers who need controls a regular BEP-20 token does not offer natively. Issuers get allowlists and blocklists, the ability to pause transfers, and separate roles for minting, burning and seizing tokens. For real-world-asset issuers the framework targets the gap between permissionless tokens and the controls regulators expect from tokenized assets. Jenner carries the code, but nobody can create CAS20 tokens yet: that requires separate activation by an administrator appointed through governance. BNB Chain also states plainly that technical controls on their own do not make a token legally compliant. CAS20 keeps compatibility with BEP-20 tooling, so existing wallets and apps should read these tokens without changes. Two of the three features therefore sit behind further governance activation, and the mainnet date is still open. Scale matters for both: BNB Chain logged 12.3 million contract deployments in Q3 2026, a large body of tooling that can now opt in to the millisecond clock. Readers who want the upgrade mechanics in plain terms can start with Soft Fork vs Hard Fork. Governance Votes Decide Stablecoin Access Spot markets have so far treated the testnet activation as infrastructure news, with BNB holding its $735 trend line through a Wednesday pullback from $810. The operative question sits with governance. Until voters populate the approved payment list, the lane serves simple BNB transfers only, the narrowest version of the PayFi design BNB Chain is pitching. Stablecoin issuers and the governance body are the parties that have not moved yet. Their first votes decide whether Payment Lane becomes a real settlement rail for altcoin payments or a cosmetic 5% carve-out.

BNB Chain's Jenner Hardfork Makes Block Builders Reserve 5% of BSC Gas for Payments

• BNB Chain activated the Jenner hard fork on BSC testnet on Thursday.
• BEP-703 reserves 5% of each block's gas for payments, raisable to 10% by governance.
• Stablecoins like USDT do not qualify for Payment Lane until governance adds them to an empty list.
Block Builders Face a Reserved 5%
Block builders assembling blocks on BNB Smart Chain's testnet must now set aside part of every block for payments, after BNB Chain activated the Jenner hard fork there on Thursday. The upgrade lands three changes at once: Payment Lane under BEP-703, millisecond block timestamps under BEP-706, and the dormant code for a compliant token standard under BEP-702.
