$NIL #NIL What I like most about Covenants by @Nillion , and why Dusk is a big deal 🔐
Public blockchains are transparent by design. That's great for verification, but it also means everyone can see what you plan to do before you do it: your limit orders, your stop-losses, your bids. Nillion is tackling this problem with its core product, Covenants. 🔹 What is a Covenant? A Covenant is an instruction sealed to a condition, such as a price or a time. It is published on Ethereum in encrypted form and stays unreadable until that condition is met. When the condition triggers, the Covenant is resolved without any single trusted party in control. 🔹 Three things I like most about Covenants 1️⃣ Private intent: your plan stays hidden until execution, so there is nothing for others to front-run or hunt. 2️⃣ Trust-minimized: resolution is handled by a permissionless node network, not a company or middleman you have to trust. 3️⃣ Real commitment: once posted, a Covenant can't be cancelled. It works like a true onchain promise, which matters for auctions, deals and agreements. 🔹 Why Dusk matters Dusk is Nillion's first release and the foundation phase for Covenants. After running on the Sepolia testnet, Dusk is now live on Ethereum mainnet. Builders can create Covenants, run permissionless nodes and build with the SDK. Node rewards are moving to Ethereum L1 as well, which ties NIL directly to the work of resolving Covenants. 🔹 What I'm most excited about on the 7-era roadmap Dusk is only era one. Next come Darkfall (multi-chain), Skyglow (cross-chain), Nightside (custom conditions), Neon (a dedicated VM), Aurora (quantum hardening) and Moonshine (everyday scale). My pick is Nightside. Today, triggers are mainly price and time. Letting builders define their own conditions could unlock sealed-bid auctions, private OTC deals, conditional payments and much more. 🔹 What I'll be watching Real adoption after launch: how many apps build on Covenants, and how reliable the node network stays as usage grows.
Sellers aren't pushing through like they were earlier, and the zone that held before is getting tested again with less conviction on the downside. Feels like rotation rather than breakdown—watching whether buyers actually show up or if this is just a pause.
Price keeps pressing into resistance but can't break through — each attempt feels weaker than the last. If sellers step back in here with conviction, we could see a sharper leg down unfold.
Price keeps bumping into this resistance area but can't quite break through. Sellers keep showing up each time it tries — not aggressive rejection, just steady defense. Leaning short if it rolls over here, but waiting to see if they actually hold it.
Price keeps failing at this resistance cluster and the bounce feels weak—more like a breather than a real reversal attempt. Sellers stepping back in each time it tests the zone, structure still tilted down.
Testing resistance here — if price rejects clean and momentum starts building back down, continuation should show itself through expanding moves rather than choppy grind. Watch how it reacts off this zone.
Price keeps rejecting off the same area with progressively weaker bounces, which tells me sellers aren't letting go. If that resistance breaks cleanly and momentum rotates, the read flips. For now, pressure's still pointing down and structure favors continuation.
Price keeps chopping around the same ceiling with no real follow-through from buyers. Each bounce gets absorbed fast and momentum's fading - sellers are clearly still in control here. Setup favours the short side.
Price keeps getting rejected at the same area and sellers are holding the line pretty consistently. Each bounce up here feels weaker than the last. Looks like distribution rather than accumulation building.
Resistance is getting tested again and so far the zone is holding - buyers haven't been able to push through with any real conviction. If that changes and we see aggressive reclaims with momentum rotating their way, the short thesis breaks down.
Price keeps grinding into resistance here and sellers are still holding it down. If buyers start stepping in harder and the zone cracks clean, that flips the read—but for now the pressure's still tilted short and structure's backing it.
Resistance held cleanly and the retest structure looks weak. Buyers aren't stepping in with conviction, and the trend bands confirm sellers still control the flow—so this reads like continuation, not exhaustion.
You seeing this resistance rejection? Price keeps pressing into the zone but can't punch through. If sellers stay in control here, continuation should show up as momentum building back down — not choppy, actual expansion. Structure's lining up clean.
Price rejected hard off resistance and structure's starting to fold—bands are stacked heavy. If we get continuation here it'll show as expansion without recovery attempts, sellers staying in control through the descent.
If we get a clean break above with buyers stepping in heavy, I'm out—this only works if resistance keeps them pinned. Right now momentum's still leaning downside so I'm holding the read.
XLM pressed into resistance and stalled out—bands are stacked against it. If buyers reclaim this area with momentum flipping cleanly, the read breaks. Until then, continuation looks likely.
ETH's losing steam into this resistance—buyers aren't really showing up and sellers look like they're regaining control. Feels more like a rejection setting up than anything else.
Price keeps getting rejected at the same ceiling and each attempt looks weaker than the last. Buyers aren't defending aggressively here, which suggests the zone might finally crack. If we see expansion below recent consolidation, the path down opens up cleanly.
Price keeps pressing into resistance but buyers aren't showing up—momentum's leaking and the bounce feels more like distribution than accumulation. If this zone cracks, continuation lower should be clean.
