JPEX交易所诈骗案是香港史上最大的币圈暴雷事件，2023年案发后历经两年追查仍未完全落幕，涉案金额超16亿港元，2700多名投资者受损。
JPEX于2020年在迪拜注册，主攻香港市场。它谎称持有美、加等多国虚拟资产交易牌照，还标注“日本加密货币交易所”营造合规假象，实则相关牌照仅能做外汇兑换。平台推出“Earn”产品，以比特币年化20%、以太坊21%的超高收益为诱饵，同时在香港地铁站等投满线下广告，开设场外交易店，还拉拢林作等KOL站台宣传，全方位给投资者洗脑。
2023年7月，内地已有用户反映提现困难，部分维权用户赴港后还遭伏击殴打。同年9月13日，香港证监会发出警告，指出JPEX无牌非法运营，可JPEX反称遭监管不公平打压。9月17日，平台用户彻底无法正常提现，不仅下架高息产品，还把USDT提现手续费从10美元暴涨到999美元，而单次提现上限仅1000美元，相当于变相冻结用户资产。
2023年9月19日，警方开展“铁关行动”首批逮捕8人，后续被捕人数逐步增至80人。2025年11月，案件有了关键进展，16人被正式检控，其中包含平台核心成员、推广KOL等。同时国际刑警对莫俊廷等3名主导资金转移和洗钱的主脑发出红色通缉令，他们案发后已逃至海外。
截至2025年11月，警方仅冻结2.28亿港元资产，相较于16亿港元的涉案金额，投资者平均退赔率不足15%。当月6日，16名被告提堂，林作等涉案KOL缴纳保释金后获准保释，案件后续仍在推进中。
