I honestly never thought much about what happens when financial assets move onchain... I just assumed the whole point was making everything more transparent and easier to trade.

Then I started looking into Dusk and realized there’s a pretty obvious problem with that idea.

Financial institutions can’t exactly put every investor detail and sensitive transaction in public. But regulators still need to be able to see and verify certain things when necessary.

That’s what made @Dusk interesting to me. It’s trying to build a middle ground where financial data can stay private without completely losing the transparency regulators need.

DuskEVM gives builders a familiar EVM environment, while Hedger brings confidential workflows into the picture.

I’m still figuring out the technical side, but the problem Dusk is solving actually makes a lot of sense to me.

I’ve been going down a bit of a rabbit hole with @Dusk lately, and one thought keeps coming back to me.

The technology sounds interesting, but having good infrastructure is only half the story. What really matters is whether financial institutions actually end up using it.

Dusk is trying to solve a pretty specific problem. Financial markets want the benefits of blockchain, but they can’t simply put every sensitive investor detail and transaction in public. At the same time, regulators still need a way to check what’s happening.

That’s why the combination of confidential smart contracts… DuskEVM and programmable privacy caught my attentionnnn

I’m less interested in the hype around it and more curious to see when this starts turning into real financial activity onchain.
