The Japan Blockchain Association has requested their federal government to revise crypto taxes, stating that the current tax system is hindering the growth of web3 companies which are located in Japan.
To add, they also added that the government should set the tax on personal transactions to a flat rate of 20% , while capital gains should be cancelled.
