According to Foresight News, game studio Supervillain Labs has received an investment from Aptos Labs, with the specific amount undisclosed. The two companies will collaborate to launch a new Web3 game called 'Idle RPG', which will feature characters from Aptos' native NFT projects, such as Aptos Monkeys, Aptomingos, and Bruh Bears. Players can complete game tests to earn NFTs based on character types, and game assets will be located on the Aptos blockchain, ensuring compatibility with future Supervillain versions.
Supervillain announced that the 'Idle RPG' game demo will be launched on Aptos at the end of February. Supervillain Labs and Aptos Labs will also collaborate with gaming giant Neowiz's Web3 division, Intella X.
