I’m testing a moderately aggressive algorithm. So far, it has generated more than 20% in one month, while unrealized drawdown has stayed below 10%.
The sample is still short, so this is not an expected monthly return. The result came without endless martingale averaging or uncontrolled position growth.
🛡 Only CoinMarketCap Top 50 assets
Large caps can still move hard, but the risk of a 90% one-candle dump or a 1,000% pump in an empty order book is much lower. Cleaner liquidity makes the system easier to control.
⚖️ Long and Short together
When one side gets trapped, the algorithm keeps trading the opposite move. That brings in realized PnL and releases margin instead of freezing the whole system.
📉 No traditional averaging
The bot does not add just because price moved against the position. DCA is limited and only triggers on a fresh signal when the impulse starts losing strength.
After three or four additions, the average entry barely improves while exposure keeps growing. Position size is capped in advance.
🎯 Smaller take profits
For Top 50 assets, a 1–2% move is enough. Waiting for 10% can leave positions open for months instead of closing them on a normal pullback.
📊 Current result: more than 20% realized return with unrealized drawdown below 10%. The real test is surviving different market phases without losing control of exposure.
🤖 The Binance trading bot I’ve shown here trades a wider list of assets. It is profitable and aggressive, but a strong dump can trap positions for a long time. I’ll soon rebuild it around the new logic and continue the public test.
