×3 size = ×4 drawdown. Exactly what we signed up for.
Same pool, same year: without a size multiplier max drawdown −12 % and 8 episodes; with ×3 multiplier −47 % and 26 episodes. Return went from +168 % to +1,562 % on the stand (hindsight-selected pool, so read the ratio, not the absolute). Leverage does not create edge; it scales both tails.
Question: which curve would you actually hold through?

The add came in drawdown. Our rule: adds are copied only inside legs we already hold; we never join a master's existing losing position from outside.

✅ Closed: SHORT $ETH +2.02 % in 16.6 h (entry 2708.94 → exit 2654.14) · +2.85 USDT on 141
In plain words: the trader we copy closed his short, so we closed too — at the same moment, no waiting and no hoping. A small win on 141 USDT; on 1,000 USDT it would be +20.2 USDT.
Lesson for beginners: the exit is decided before you feel anything about the trade. That is what copying a disciplined trader buys you.
Market at the exit: neutral — price below falling 20/50h averages (downtrend); RSI 25: oversold zone.

🟢 Master #19 added to the LONG $ZEC : 43 → 87 USDT on our side (1.8 % of the account), average entry 1599.47 → 1584.91.
The add came in drawdown. Our rule: adds are copied only inside legs we already hold; we never join a master's existing losing position from outside.

Year-long stand: three drawdowns of −35…−47 %. In each, 49–84 % of the mark-to-market loss came from one master holding long BTC/ETH/AAVE/ZEC for 60 days straight. Diversification across 28 wallets did not help when several of them hold the same coin.
Fix: a cap per coin across all masters (30 % of capital), not a cap per master.
Question: how many of your 'diversified' positions are actually one bet?
