#SuiFoundationInvests$30MInDATANetwork 🚨 SUI FOUNDATION INVESTS $30 MILLION IN DATA NETWORK — AND ITS OWN BLOCKCHAIN IS SET TO SHUT DOWN. The Sui Foundation is investing $30 million in DATA Network, a project focused on tracking the origin, ownership and usage rights of data used to train AI models. Here’s what makes this deal significant: 💰 $30 million strategic investment: Sui Foundation becomes DATA Network’s largest institutional holder. 🤖 AI meets blockchain: DATA’s Trace registry tracks data provenance and usage rights, helping AI companies source datasets they are authorized to use. ⚡ Major infrastructure shift: DATA Network will migrate to the Sui ecosystem, while its independent blockchain is set to be retired. 🔒 Walrus integration: The decentralized storage platform will become the default storage layer for DATA Foundation applications. The network has registered more than 250 million data contributions and processes over 3 million receipts per day, according to the project. The existing $DATA token is expected to migrate at a 1:1 ratio, with a transition timeline to be announced before the upgrade. This is more than a funding deal. It shows how blockchain infrastructure is positioning itself to support the growing demand for verifiable AI training data. #SUİ #data #AI
