🚨 I'm a security researcher. This scam drains wallets every single day, and most people never see it coming. It's called Address Poisoning 🧪 Here's how it works: 1️⃣ You send $USDT to a friend or exchange. Normal day. 2️⃣ A scammer's bot spots your transaction on-chain. 3️⃣ They create a wallet that starts and ends with the same characters as your friend's address. 4️⃣ They send you a tiny "dust" transaction from that fake wallet, so it shows up in your history. 5️⃣ Next time, you copy the address from your history... and send your funds to the scammer. 💸 It's gone. No reversals on-chain. 🛡️ How to protect yourself: ✅ Never copy addresses from your transaction history ✅ Use your exchange's address book / whitelist ✅ Check the middle characters of an address, not just the first and last 4 ✅ Send a small test amount first for large transfers ✅ Ignore random tiny deposits from unknown wallets This hits holders of $USDT, $ETH, $BNB and $TRX the hardest, because those networks are cheap to spam. I'll be posting more real scam breakdowns from a security researcher's view. Follow so you don't become the next victim. 🔐 💬 Have you ever received a random dust transaction?
