Something interesting is developing in RVN Futures right now.

$RVN is trading around $0.002255, down roughly 4.8% in 24H, but the derivatives positioning is showing a notable imbalance:

• Global accounts: 54.6% SHORT
• Top-trader positions: 55.1% LONG
• Funding Rate: approximately −0.196%
• Latest completed 5M Taker Buy/Sell: 1.35
• Open Interest: approximately 1.22B RVN

Negative funding this aggressive means shorts are paying heavily while top traders are still leaning long.

But that does NOT mean an automatic squeeze.

🎯 My confirmation level is $0.002260.

I want to see:

✅ 5M close above $0.002260
✅ Open Interest expanding above ~1.23B RVN
✅ Taker Buy/Sell staying above 1.20
✅ Successful breakout retest

But the price is NOT the most interesting part.

Look at the futures positioning:

• Retail traders: 56.8% SHORT
• Top-trader positions: 56.2% LONG
• Funding: −0.0286%
• Open Interest: rising from ~24.4M to ~24.9M STX

Meanwhile, $STX is trading near $0.252, down about 6.5% in 24H.

That creates an interesting imbalance.

Crowd is leaning short.
Top traders are leaning long.
Funding is negative.
And new positions are entering the market.

But I’m not calling the squeeze yet.

Recent taker flow is still sell-heavy.

The level I’m watching is $0.254–$0.255.

If $STX reclaims it with OI still rising and buyers taking control, shorts could suddenly find themselves on the wrong side.

If $0.2516 breaks instead, the bearish case remains alive.

So what are we seeing here?

Early short-squeeze positioning — or one more trap before another leg down?

So I’m NOT chasing the bounce.
