🚨 Why #Clarity Act is Important for $XRP ?
For years, XRP has lived under a legal cloud.
Back in March, U.S. regulators labeled it a commodity; yes it is good news for XRP holders but it is still fragile.
Because the commodity call came from an agency, not a law, means not legalized.
This agency can decide it, but the next administration can undo it.
That is exactly the gap the #CLARITYAct is built to close. 🚀
It would take XRP's commodity status and lock it into permanent federal law.
Beyond XRP's commodity status, the CLARITY Act tackles the bigger structural problem.
It will draw a clear line between the #SEC and CFTC, so exchanges and token projects finally know their limitations.
It also sets registration and disclosure standards for digital asset platforms.
Pension funds, banks, asset managers like @BlackRock @JPMorganAM will receive a compliance framework they can actually build on instead of guessing.
And it addresses #DeFi and stablecoin yield treatment also.
In my opinion, it will have a great impact on @Bitcoin , $ETH , XRP, but may have negative impacts on DeFi and Meme coins like $DOGE and $PEPE.
But nothing's law yet. The Senate has until August 7th before this window closes, possibly for years.
But if it happens, it could be the biggest legal moment in crypto history.
