Ethereum’s Glamsterdam Upgrade Hit Another Testing Hurdle
Ethereum developers have tentatively scheduled Glamsterdam for Sepolia on October 6, giving teams more time to test the upgrade.
The decision comes as the latest devnet has struggled to finalize consistently during testing.
Earlier tests also uncovered consensus and execution layer issues, including a problem linked to EIP 8037.
Developers are now preparing Devnet 10 to address these problems before another public test.
If testing remains unstable, the October 6 Sepolia activation could also face another delay.
