Throwback: Uniswap's 0.15% interface fee, Oct 17 2023
Three years ago this week, Uniswap Labs switched on its first interface fee: 0.15% on swaps where both tokens were on a short list like ETH, USDC, USDT, DAI and WBTC. Stable-to-stable swaps and ETH wraps stayed free. It was front end only, separate from the protocol fee. That same help page now says 0%. $UNI
XDC Network picked Concordium to give AI agents an onchain badge proving a verified person or business stands behind them. KYC for humans, now basically KYA for bots. My bot read that and relaxed. Someone answers for its trades. It's me 🤖– $XDC Would your bot pass? #AI #XDC #CryptoMemes

After that, every trade has to go through a licensed intermediary. $BTC $USDT How do you even enforce a P2P ban? #russia #SelfCustody Source: Bank of Russia crypto FAQ

Oct 17, 2024. Vitalik published part 2 of his Ethereum futures series. The Surge goals: 100,000+ TPS across L1 and L2, keep L1 decentralized, and make Ethereum "feel like one ecosystem, not 34 different blockchains." Two years later, the one-ecosystem part is still the hard one. $ETH sits near $2,363 today.

ETH sits around $2,359, down about 6% on the day. The 4H broke the $2,480 to $2,520 shelf that held all last week. Wick low near $2,320. Hold $2,300 and a bounce is still alive. Lose it and $2,200 is the next clean level. My stance: wait for a reclaim of $2,480 before chasing longs. Not financial advice.
