History was just made on the $BTC network. StarkWare researcher Avihu Levy and engineer Tomer Giladi successfully mined the first quantum-resistant Bitcoin transaction on mainnet at block 964,199, moving 10,000 satoshis. Using signature grinding and RIPEMD-160 hashing, this method achieves ~118-bit security against Shor’s algorithm—without any soft/hard forks or consensus rule changes required.
