IF EVERYONE IS BUYING THE DOLLAR, WHO IS SELLING IT? Have you ever Thought of this ? You open your trading platform and see USD/JPY rising. You conclude that traders are buying the dollar. But here's a question: If someone buys, doesn't someone else have to sell? Exactly! Every completed transaction has a buyer and a seller. So why does price move? Because the market is constantly matching orders at different prices. When buyers are willing to pay higher prices to execute their trades, the market can move upward. When sellers are willing to accept lower prices, the market can move downward. Large institutions, banks, corporations, investment funds, and individual traders all participate in currency markets, although their reasons for trading differ. For example: A Nigerian importer may need dollars to pay an international supplier. An investment fund may buy dollars because it expects US interest rates to remain relatively attractive. A trader may buy EUR/USD because their analysis suggests the euro will strengthen against the dollar. Different participants. Different reasons. One market. The lesson? Price doesn't move simply because there are more buyers than sellers in the literal sense. It moves as orders interact, liquidity changes, and participants adjust the prices at which they are willing to transact. Before today, have you ever wondered who was on the other side of your trade? #forex #forextrader
IF EVERYONE IS BUYING THE DOLLAR, WHO IS SELLING IT?

Have you ever Thought of this ?

You open your trading platform and see USD/JPY rising.

You conclude that traders are buying the dollar.

But here's a question:

If someone buys, doesn't someone else have to sell?

For example:

A Nigerian importer may need dollars to pay an international supplier.
