$XRP’s next major XRPL upgrade just got delayed — but the underlying use case may be more important than the delay. The Batch feature, now called BatchV1_1, was expected to activate Sept. 29 but lost enough validator support to reset its two-week countdown. It regained support from 30 of 35 trusted validators on Sept. 25, putting the earliest possible activation around Oct. 9 if support holds. Why does Batch matter? It could let users bundle up to eight transactions into one operation, with an all-or-nothing option. That could be useful for tokenized assets: a buyer could pay while receiving the asset in the same operation, reducing settlement risk. The upgrade is already being considered by projects building around XRPL, according to RippleX, while a separate PermissionDelegation feature could let businesses delegate specific tasks without handing over their signing keys. Bitcoin could be getting a Zcash-style privacy layer without changing Bitcoin’s rules. A new Shielded Bitcoin proposal from researchers at [alloc] init outlines a way to make BTC transfers private by borrowing Zcash’s encrypted payment design. The idea is simple but powerful: bitcoin-denominated value would sit inside encrypted “notes,” hiding the amount, sender and recipient. Users would publish a marker and cryptographic proof showing the funds were legitimately spent, while separate software verifies the private transaction. The catch? It’s still a proposal. Unlike Zcash, Bitcoin itself wouldn’t verify those privacy proofs, and researchers haven’t finished the mechanism for locking real $BTC into the system and redeeming it later. Still, the timing is interesting. Zcash’s shielded pool now holds roughly 4.9M $ZEC , while private transactions recently hit their busiest weekly level since 2022. What I find most interesting is the potential for BTC privacy without a Bitcoin network upgrade especially for payroll, business payments and treasury activity where permanently public transaction data can be a problem. $BTC doesn’t necessarily need to become Zcash. $HYPE After being 1 of the best coins this year, HYPE has underperformed a lot of the recent runners the last few weeks and it makes sense- in bull markets, usually trash outperforms better fundamental coins. $351.6M moved out of Bitget wallets. $ETH , $USDT and other major assets were involved. But before the timeline turns into panic, here’s what’s actually confirmed. Bitget says unauthorized transfers hit parts of its hot and warm-wallet infrastructure on Sept. 24. On-chain activity showed assets including ETH, USDT, USDC, XRP, BNB and AVAX being moved, with some stolen USDT/USDT0 later swapped into ETH.  Bitget temporarily paused withdrawals while the investigation continues, but says its cold wallets remain secure, customer balances remain accurate, and trading and deposits are still operational. Its User Protection Fund reportedly holds more than $464M, exceeding the estimated $351.6M loss. That part is still being investigated. Bitget has said the attack involved a compromised backend wallet system that was used to spoof transaction information and trigger authorization, while investigators are examining suspected North Korean links. I’ve been around the Bitget ecosystem as both a user and Builder, don’t amplify rumors before the full investigation is out. $PUMP is 1 of my investments and I think these types of charts look pretty decent for slower trades. An ideal example of something that's about to break out: $PUMP . It's been consolidating for the entire year. That's nine full months. The moment that it breaks such a range, that's when you get a super volatile move to the upside. What could it be? 2x, 3x, 5x? Another great one is $KAS This one signaled a bottom was happening at the low, as there was a strong bullish divergence in play. Since then: continuation with higher highs, higher lows and constant flips of the levels.
