Bitcoin Bounces Back Above $78K After a Sharp Overnight Dip
Bitcoin is trading at $78,368.98 (about Rs21.57M), up 1.97% on the day, and the 4-hour chart tells an interesting story.
Earlier in the session, BTC dropped hard to a 24h low of $75,736.38. That long wick shows buyers stepping in aggressively, and the next two green 4H candles recovered most of the move. Price is now back near the $78,500 area, which matches the 24h high of $78,514.30.
What I’m watching:
Moving averages: MA(7) sits at 77,552 and MA(25) at 77,640. Price has now pushed above both, which is a short-term positive.
Resistance: The MA(99) is at 80,085 and still sloping down. The $78,878 local high and the $80K zone are the next hurdles.
Support: $77,000 to $77,500 is the first area to hold on any pullback, with $75,736 as the line in the sand.
Volume: 24h volume is solid at 14,778 BTC (about $1.14B), though the latest candle is showing lighter volume. I’d like to see that pick up on the next push higher.
My take: The recovery is encouraging, but BTC is still trading below its longer-term average, so this is a bounce that needs confirmation. A clean 4H close above $78,900 would strengthen the bullish case, while losing $77,000 would put the dip lows back in play.
Patience and risk management matter more than chasing candles right now.
