XRP Slips to $1.29 as a Failed Rally Fades

XRP closed the week at $1.29, the low of the window in the reported data. The shape of the move matters more than its size.

Over seven days XRP is down 7.26%, and over fourteen days it is down 13.88%. The 30-day change is only -2.76%. That calm monthly figure hides the path. Back-calculated, XRP climbed from roughly $1.33 to about $1.50, then gave back the entire gain. A flat-looking month can conceal a failed advance, which is a different signal from quiet range trading.

The move is not XRP-specific. Bitcoin trades near $81,606 in a bearish regime, and large-cap altcoins have historically followed Bitcoin in weak phases. Fear and Greed reads 53, nominally Neutral, but it stood at 61 a week ago, so sentiment is drifting toward fear. Ripple's 24/7 Hyperliquid market access news drew little price reaction.

Volume is moderate. About $962 million traded in 24 hours against an $81.5 billion market cap, roughly 1.2% turnover. Paired with a gradual decline, that fits a lack of buyers more than forced selling, though one reading cannot prove it.

On levels, about $1.39 is where price stood seven days ago, and $1.50 marks the top of the recent bounce. With $1.29 as the low of the window, there is no tested reference below it. $1.25 and $1.20 are round-number areas, not confirmed support.

The key insight: XRP sits at the bottom of its $1.30 to $1.50 range, tracking a weak Bitcoin while sentiment cools. How price behaves around $1.39 and $1.25 will provide the next real information.
