I spend a lot of time watching liquidations, open interest, and how trading bots react to market activity. One thing I've learned is that visible trading intentions can become a serious disadvantage.
That's why I find @Nillion and its Covenants technology interesting.
The idea of keeping trading instructions encrypted until specific conditions are met makes sense to me.
Large orders, automated strategies, and conditional execution shouldn't necessarily expose a trader's intentions before anything happens.
🚀 DUSK, the first Covenants release on Ethereum mainnet, is particularly interesting.
I'm curious to see how encrypted conditional orders perform in real trading environments, especially when volatility spikes and bots compete for execution.
I don't expect privacy technology to eliminate slippage or manipulation. But reducing information leakage could make automated onchain trading considerably more interesting.
For me, that's a much stronger reason to watch $NIL than short-term price speculation.
