📉 ETHEREUM SPOT ETFs: -$542M NET OUTFLOW LAST WEEK 🚨
US spot Ether ETFs just had their worst week since January. Here are the numbers. 👇
The data (week ended Oct 9):
🔴 Net outflow: $542.1M, up from $138.0M the week before
🔴 That makes a 9-day outflow streak worth about $697M in total
🏦 BlackRock’s ETHA lost about $477M, roughly 88% of the week’s outflows
💰 Total ETF net assets fell about 10% to $15.7B
Context worth knowing:
📌 Tuesday’s $201.9M redemption from ETHA happened the same day as its 1-for-3 reverse share split, so some of the flow may be related to that
📌 Bitcoin ETFs also lost about $681M, so this was a broad risk-off week
📌 Solana ETFs ended a record 14-week inflow streak with a $24.8M outflow
ETH price levels:
📊 ETH is trading around $2,500
🟢 Support: ~$2,370, then the 100-day SMA near $2,200
🔴 Resistance: $2,500 and the 50-day SMA
📉 Daily RSI at 39, its lowest since June
The positive side: whales reportedly added over 166K ETH in 72 hours, so not everyone is selling. 🐋
ETF flows show institutional demand, not the whole market. The question is whether outflows slow down or the streak continues. 👀
