Bitcoin's low in the Oct 10, 2025 crash was about $105,400 on CoinDesk's reference rate. A year later it trades near $83,000, 21% under that panic price.

That day, CoinGlass counted $19.13B of liquidations across 1.6M traders, the biggest wipeout crypto has on record. BTC had set a record above $126K four days earlier.

We pulled Coinbase's daily candles for the year since. BTC bounced to a $115.3K close on Oct 13, and the last time it traded above the crash low was Nov 11, 2025. It came within about $70 of it the next day and never got back over. This year's low was $57.7K on July 1.

ETH and SOL are worse. Someone who bought ETH at its $3,645 crash low is down 31%. At SOL's $172 low, it's 36%.

The panic low turned into the ceiling.
