Every $HYPE holder gets the same thought near the 29th:
"Buyback is nice… but what if the unlock is bigger?"
Same. The calendar allows about $918M a month. Scary.
But what actually unlocked on Sept 6 was about $40M.
Buyback run-rate is roughly $79M a month, close to double that. (The new $14.58M hadn't reached the fund yet when I checked.)
So the fear was aimed at the wrong number.
Still, Oct 29 shows 14.2M HYPE, about $1.3B, on the calendar. If actual moves toward schedule, it flips.
Not "is the buyback big enough?" but "how long does actual stay below allowed?"
Not financial advice.
