Bitwise has filed the final prospectus for its Bitwise NEAR ETF, with the fund set to trade under $NRR on NYSE Arca. The SEC filing trail shows the registration became effective on September 24, while NYSE Arca approved the listing application. But here’s the part the market may be underestimating: this isn’t simply another crypto ETF headline. The proposed fund is designed to hold actual NEAR, track its market value through the CME CF NEAR Protocol–Dollar Reference Rate, and potentially generate additional NEAR through staking.
