According to Binance market data, Bitcoin surged above $85,000, reaching an intraday high of $85,299 before trading at $84,927, up 5.45% over the past 24 hours. CoinGlass data shows that total crypto liquidations reached $747 million over the past 24 hours, including $648 million in short positions and $98.78 million in longs.

According to Lookonchain, as BTC broke above $85,000 and ETH surpassed $2,750, two short positions were liquidated. Trader 0x06bc’s short position of 5,867 ETH ($16.13 million) was partially liquidated, while trader 0xec0b’s short position of 122.88 BTC ($10.16 million) was fully liquidated.
