⚠️ 🚨The FOMC is scheduled to announce its September decision today at 2:00 PM ET, followed by the Chair’s press conference at 2:30 PM ET. The meeting also includes updated economic projections and the dot plot.

Markets are widely expecting a 25 bp rate hike, with Reuters reporting more than 90% probability priced by CME FedWatch.

Meanwhile $BTC is trading around $75,736 on Binance down about 0.93% over 24 hours. Today’s Binance range is roughly $74,968–$77,343 with 24 hour spot volume around $1.24B.

The key question for crypto is what comes next? a hawkish Fed path could keep pressure on risk assets while softer guidance could improve liquidity expectations.

For BTC traders the statement, dot plot and press conference may matter more than the 25 bp move itself.

Latest Binance spot data shows $ILV trading near $3.80 up 22.58% in 24 hours with approximately $2.52M in 24-hour trading volume. $REZ is around $0.004016 gaining 21.70% with roughly $39.30M in 24-hour volume.

These moves show that capital is still flowing into selected altcoins. However strong individual performers do not automatically mean the broader market is risk-free.

Binance’s latest market overview shows total crypto market capitalization near $2.64T while the Fear & Greed Index stands at 67 Greed. At the same time, regulatory and macro warnings remain important as investors face inflation, geopolitical uncertainty, weaker growth expectations and stretched valuations.

That creates an interesting market setup strong selective buying alongside elevated systemic risk.

The key question is not simply which token is pumping. It is whether this buying strength can continue if global liquidity and risk appetite deteriorate.

Momentum can move individual coins, but macro conditions can move the entire market.

On Binance spot $DOGE is trading near $0.08462, up 0.63% over 24 hours with approximately $65.67M in 24-hour quote volume.

$PEPE is around $0.00000331 down 0.30%, with about $34.56M in 24-hour quote volume.

$SHIB is near $0.00000519 up 1.77%, with roughly $4.82M in 24-hour quote volume.

The key takeaway is that meme coins have not reacted uniformly. DOGE and SHIB are holding gains while PEPE is slightly weaker. The 0.4% monthly headline CPI and 0.3% core increase can keep rate expectations and liquidity conditions important for speculative assets.

Gold is showing resilience after a volatile week but the macro backdrop remains complicated.

Spot XAU/USDT is currently around $4,369 with today’s trading range near $4,292–$4,403. Reuters reported spot gold around $4,363 up more than 1% on Friday, although the metal remains roughly 1.5% lower for the week.

The major catalyst is the latest U.S CPI report. Markets have consequently increased expectations for a Federal Reserve rate hike next week.

For crypto investors the gold narrative also extends to tokenized assets such as $PAXG $XAUT and $KAU which provide blockchain based exposure to gold but carry different issuer, liquidity and structural risks than spot bullion.

Key levels are $4,400 resistance and $4,290 support. A sustained breakout above resistance could strengthen momentum while losing support would signal renewed downside pressure.

$ZEC is showing notable resilience as the market faces a major macro catalyst.

Latest Binance spot data has ZEC near $1,174, up roughly 1.8% over 24 hours, with around $418M in spot volume. The $1,054–$1,218 session range also shows just how volatile the market has become.

The key event is the U.S August CPI report. A hotter than expected reading could push Treasury yields higher and reinforce expectations for tighter Fed policy potentially putting pressure on risk assets including crypto.

Yet ZEC has managed to stay above $1,100 after a sharp intraday swing. That relative strength deserves attention.

My view remains cautiously bullish as long as the $1,050–$1,100 area holds. However CPI could quickly shift market expectations and change the short-term setup.

The next move may not be driven by crypto momentum alone. Macro liquidity and changing Fed expectations could prove just as important.

$BTC when CPI report will released Today

August U.S CPI report is due today September 11, ahead of the Federal Reserve’s September 15–16 meeting. Economists surveyed by Reuters expect headline CPI at +0.4% MoM and 3.4% YoY, while Core CPI is expected at +0.2% MoM and 2.4% YoY. These are estimates not the actual numbers.

The latest confirmed PPI data showed producer prices rising 0.4% MoM and 5.4% YoY in August. Before today’s CPI, markets were also pricing roughly a 70% chance of a 25 basis point Fed hike.

Here’s how I’m watching the reaction:

🟢 CPI below expectations Could give $BTC , $ETH and $XRP room to move higher as rate-hike pressure may ease.

🟡 CPI near expectations Expect volatility as traders reassess yields and Fed expectations.

🔴 CPI above expectations Could put pressure on crypto if markets expect tighter monetary policy.

But we are still waiting for the surprise report.
