BITCOIN JUST HIT $78K — AND I’M WATCHING THE REACTION, NOT THE NUMBER

Okay, this move caught my attention.

Bitcoin just pushed into the $78,000 area, with the chart showing a high around $78,069.

But looking at the 1H candles, what I noticed wasn’t simply “BTC is pumping.”

BTC was moving sideways around the $76K–$77K zone for a while. A lot of back-and-forth, some failed pushes, and then suddenly the buying pressure started to pick up.

Once BTC broke out of that range, the candles became much stronger.

That’s the part I like watching.

Not because it guarantees anything — it doesn’t.

But because price finally escaped the range it had been stuck in.

Now comes the difficult part.

Can Bitcoin actually hold these higher levels?

If buyers defend the breakout area, this could become an interesting shift in short-term structure.

But if BTC quickly falls back into the old range, then this breakout needs to be looked at differently.

So I’m not celebrating $78K yet.

I’m watching what happens after $78K.

Because breaking a level is one thing.

Holding it is another.
