ZEC IS RISING — WHILE TOP TRADERS KEEP LEANING SHORT

Zcash is trading around $1,307 after another strong +16.9% move.

The derivatives data is getting interesting.

Top Trader Long/Short Ratio is around 0.34, meaning short accounts heavily outweigh longs. With price still pushing higher, this creates potential short-squeeze pressure if buyers continue to hold control.

Open Interest remains around $700M+ in notional value, showing that a large amount of leverage is still active in the market.

And the fundamental story is getting stronger.

Grayscale’s ZCSH ETF has already crossed $500M in AUM and holds more than 550,000 ZEC — roughly 3% of circulating supply. Cumulative inflows have exceeded $70M since launch.

Meanwhile, Zcash is continuing development around shielded payments, scalability and post-quantum privacy through Project Tachyon.

ZEC now has two forces fighting each other:

Heavy short positioning vs growing institutional demand.

If shorts keep building while ZEC refuses to pull back, the squeeze could become the next catalyst.
