🔐 Coldcard has released new firmware for Mk4, Mk5 & Q models, adding stronger entropy requirements, improved PSBT verification, USB security and firmware protections.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Updating firmware alone does NOT fix potentially compromised recovery phrases.
👉 Affected users should:
1️⃣ Update firmware
2️⃣ Generate & verify a NEW recovery phrase
3️⃣ Transfer BTC to the new wallet
4️⃣ Verify the firmware’s digital signature
