Three ways to sell $ETH without watching it, and each acts differently when price spikes and comes right back.

Spot, ETHUSDT, order type dropdown, OCO or Trailing Stop, no API key, just the spot fee. With $ETH near 2,320 USDT, a fading spike plays out so: an OCO (limit above, stop below, one fills, the other cancels) sells at the target if the spike gets there, else you hold, floor intact; a trailing stop follows the spike up by your delta and sells on the way back; a ladder of limit sells, say 20% every 3% up, fills a rung and keeps the rest. 🪜 OCO for a target-and-floor trader, trailing for a trend rider, ladder for whoever distrusts one number.

1. OCO stop leg as Stop Limit with the limit a hair under the trigger, so a fast candle blows through it and nothing sells; pick Stop Market for that leg.
2. A 1% trailing delta on a coin that swings more than that daily, so noise kicks you out early; set it wider than a normal day's range, 5% as an example, with an activation price above current.
3. A ladder with no floor, selling one rung into the spike and riding the rest down; give the unfilled coins their own stop, and since open orders lock coins, split the quantity.

Set a sell OCO's stop leg to Market so the floor sells when hit.

Most people miss the spike not because they sold early, but because they were away when it came and back when it left.

Three ways to put the sell on the book before the move, $SOL at about 104 USDT as the example. Prices below are examples.

1. OCO. Trade, Spot, order type OCO, Sell. Take-profit limit 120, stop trigger 95, stop limit 94.5. A spike to 120 fills and cancels the stop. A spike to 118 that fades fills nothing, the stop still guards. Fits one target and one floor.

2. Trailing stop. Order type Trailing Stop, Sell, delta 5% (spot allows 0.1% to 20%), activation at market. The trigger rides the high up, never down: a run to 120 lifts it to 114, the pullback sells there. You skip the top, keep most of the run. Fits whoever lets the trend call it. 📉

3. Ladder. Limit, Sell, three orders at 110, 115, 120. A spike to 116 fills two, the third rests. No stop underneath. Fits a holder trimming, not exiting.

Cost: the standard 0.1% spot fee, no API key (if you script it, withdrawals off, IP restricted).

Goes wrong: a delta tighter than a normal day's swing. $SOL moved about 3% in 24h on a quiet day, so a 2% delta sells on noise.

Today's data says SOL moves a few percent for no reason, so an automated sell sits wider than that.

For selling a coin you don't want to babysit, a spot trailing stop beats an OCO and a ladder of limit sells, and $ETH near 2,380 USDT is my example.

Trade, Spot, Trailing Stop, set a trailing delta (5% as an example; spot allows 0.1 to 20%) and pick Market so it fills on a fast drop. On a spike the stop climbs with price and freezes when it turns, so a pump that fades still books most of it, while an OCO sells the first touch and a ladder sits unfilled if the spike stops a rung short. Standard 0.1% spot fee. 🪜

The ladder wins if you want exits you chose and fear a 5% wick shaking you out of $ETH early.

This allows normal pullbacks, but if price breaks that swing low, you exit with part of the move protected.
