Solana on Track for $300 Major Upgrade Coming

$SOL stayed around $200 on Monday after dropping nearly 3% last week. Excitement is growing because of an important network upgrade called Alpenglow (SIMD-0326).

This upgrade will make Solana faster by reducing block finality from 12.8 seconds to 50 milliseconds. It is expected to pass on Tuesday. Positive data from derivatives markets also suggests SOL could recover soon.

Network Update Details:
Wu Blockchain reported that the Alpenglow vote is underway, running from Epochs 840 to 842, and is expected to finish Tuesday. So far, 36.91% voted yes, and with strong community support, it’s likely to succeed.

If approved, the upgrade will make Solana more efficient, which could help the price rebound.

Price Forecast:
