Aptos Just Activated Block-STM v2 on Mainnet — Faster Blockchain, Stronger $APT ? ⚡

CONFIRMED: On October 15, Aptos enabled Block-STM v2 by default on its mainnet. The upgraded execution engine processes transactions in parallel, aiming to improve network throughput and scalability.

Another major update: Aptos introduced Encrypted Mempool on mainnet on October 12, allowing users to hide transaction details until block finalization to help reduce MEV attacks.

WHY IT MATTERS: Better transaction performance and optional privacy protections could make Aptos more attractive for DeFi, trading, and financial applications.

THE CATCH: Technology upgrades do not automatically create token demand. Real network usage and ecosystem growth remain essential.
