You will NOT become a profitable trader by risking your entire portfolio on a single trade.
If you are risking more than 3–5% per trade, you are not building a sustainable strategy — you are gambling. And in this field, gamblers always lose in the long run
Let me make this simple:
You can be the best technical analyst in the world
• You can have the best entries, the best strategy
But without proper risk management and emotional control —
you will lose.
Risk Management is Everything
• If you don’t know how to size your positions → you will lose
• If you overleverage → you will lose
• If you chase the market (FOMO) → you will lose
You do NOT need 90% accuracy to be profitable.
You need:
• Strict risk management
• Discipline
• Consistency

Even if you lose 7 out of 10 trades, you can still be profitable —
if your risk is controlled properly.
Position Sizing & Exposure
Risk maximum 3% per trade.
But also understand correlation:
If you
• Sell Gold (3%)
• Sell Silver (3%)
You are effectively risking 6% on the same idea, becaus they move together.
That is called overexposure — and it will destroy your account.
Before Every Trade, Ask Yourself This:
Where is my stop loss?
Then ask:
Am I 100% comfortable losing this amount
Example:
If you enter a trade with $10,000 and your stop loss means losing $4,000 —
ask yourself:
• Will I be emotionally affected if I lose this?
• Will it disturb my day?
If the answer is yes →
You are risking too much.
If the answer is no →
You are trading at the right size.
The Truth Most Traders Ignore
If your focus is:
• Profit first ❌
• Signals first ❌
• “Catching the move” ❌
Then you are not a trader.
You are a gambler.
A real trader thinks:
“How much am I willing to lose?” — BEFORE thinking about profit.

Final Rule
Be strict with risk
• Be strict with leverage
Be strict with position size
Do NOT be greedy.
Do NOT chase.
Do NOT force trades.
Wait for your setup. Execute with disciplinary .
Because in the end:
Without risk management — you will lose.
No exceptions.
