As an investor in liquid tokens, what is more important to you when valuing a token, assuming that the token already earns a share of fees?

Fees: Total sum of fees earned by users + protocol

OR

Revenue: Total fees returned to the protocol treasury or distributed directly to tokenholders

And I would love to see comments why + examples of protocols that represent your preference for maximizing Fees or Revenue. Basically, which number matters more to you.
