If you work in crypto you better review the changes to the Clarity Act that have recently been put in this week.
According to @MessariCrypto and other resources there's about 30,000-35,000 digital assets in market right now.
As the Clarity Act is now representing, the SEC is going to be commissioned to determine, one by one, which get "mature blockchain system certificates" to then migrate over to the CFTC.
How? They must examine:
⚫️Decentralization: No single party controls >20% of consensus
⚫️Functionality: 12+ months of consistent operation
Economic Activity: Real usage beyond speculation
⚫️Timeline: Projects can apply after 4 years from first token sale
As the Clarity Act is now representing, the SEC is going to be commissioned to determine, one by one, which get "mature blockchain system certificates" to then migrate over to the CFTC.
How? They must examine:
