Blockchain gaming platform Illuvium has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by King River Capital, Arrington Capital, Spartan Capital, and Animoca Capital, with participation from P2 Ventures, Nomura’s Laser Digital, 32-Bit, and Seven Capital. Illuvium, which has now raised a total of $60 million, is building an interconnected gaming universe where players can carry NFTs across different games. The platform is set to launch its first series of interconnected games in Q2 2024. Illuvium has adopted a revenue-sharing model that redirects 100% of in-game revenues to staked investors using the platform's native token, $ILV. The company has over a million registered users and generated $72 million from selling land plots in 2022.
