In March 2024, the cryptocurrency market is set to undergo an amazing transformation thanks to a huge number of token unlocks: according to the token unlock data published on X-account Wu Blockchain, the unlocked tokens include SUI, APT, ARB, APE, MANTA , PIXEL, IMX, ID, YGG, OP and PRIME.
The total value of tokens unlocked in March is estimated at more than US$2.919 billion. Of the total value of unlocked ARBs, Arbitrum's ARBs had the highest unlock value at US$2.212 billion, accounting for 87.20% of the total turnover. According to Wu X, 673 million ARBs owned by teams/advisors and 438 million ARBs for investors were unlocked in March 16.
On March 3, a significant number of SUI tokens will be unlocked - 34.62 million units worth $58.15 million. SUI tokens are currently trading at $1.66 with a daily increase of 3.55%. The unlocked supply ratio is 2.97%.
On March 13, APT will unlock 24.84 million tokens worth $291.016 million with an unlocked bid ratio of 6.67%. APT is currently trading at $11.83 and has fallen 5.67% in the last 24 hours.
Another major unlocking event is scheduled for March 17, when 15.6 million APE tokens will be unlocked. These tokens are worth $30.27 million, or 2.61% of the total volume in circulation. The current price of the tokens is $1.92, representing an increase of only 0.95%.
On March 22, 78.49 million ID tokens worth $45.77 million will be unlocked. In addition, there will be other notable events in March, including the long-awaited switch from #Ethereum to Dencun.
