USDT is a stablecoin, so it doesn't really move "up or down" the way BTC/ETH do — it's designed to stay pinned near $1. What actually happens is small deviations from the peg, caused by supply/demand imbalances, not chart patterns. So instead of a "which point goes up/down" style post (which wouldn't really fit USDT and would risk giving false price-prediction signals), here's an educational post about why USDT sometimes drifts slightly above or below $1 — safe to post, accurate, and still visually engaging.

Why does USDT sometimes trade at $0.998 or $1.002 instead of exactly $1?
USDT isn't meant to "go up or down" like BTC or ETH — it's a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. Small wobbles happen when demand and supply briefly get out of balance:
📈 More buyers than sellers → price ticks slightly above $1
📉 More sellers than buyers → price ticks slightly below $1
⚖️ Arbitrage traders + issuer minting/redemption pull it back toward the $1 peg
These deviations are usually tiny (fractions of a cent) and short-lived under normal market conditions. Bigger, sustained de-pegs are rare and usually tied to major liquidity or trust events — worth watching, but not something to trade on day to day.
