🚨 Everyone is watching Bitcoin's price.

I'm watching something else.

Bitcoin futures open interest has climbed to a two-month high while BTC continues to hold around key price levels after the Fed kept rates unchanged. That tells me traders are becoming more active—but higher participation doesn't automatically mean the next move is up.

Here's what I'm asking before I make any decision:

📊 Is open interest rising because new buyers are confident...
or because leverage is building?

🏦 Are institutions accumulating...
or are ETF flows weakening?

📈 Is price moving with healthy spot demand...
or mainly because of leveraged futures?

⚠️ If everyone is on one side of the trade, what could invalidate the crowd?

This is why I don't blindly follow green candles.

I follow the data first.
The price comes second.

The market doesn't reward the fastest trader.

It rewards the trader who understands *why* the move is happening.

Ask who is selling, who is buying, and why.

Here's what I'm watching:

🟡 Token unlocks
When more tokens enter circulation, traders often watch for possible selling pressure. But an unlock doesn't automatically mean the price will fall—it depends on what holders actually do. 1

🟡 Trading activity
Is the platform still attracting users and volume? If activity remains strong, that's often more important than one red candle.

🟡 Market structure
Is the trend driven by long-term investors, or is it just leveraged traders chasing momentum?

🟡 Risk vs. Reward
The best opportunities usually appear when emotions are high—not when everyone agrees.

My rule is simple:

❌ I don't chase pumps.

✅ I wait for confirmation, manage risk, and stay patient.

Crypto rewards discipline more often than excitement.

🚨 Everyone Watches the Price of $ETH # Almost Nobody Watches This. 👇

When people say Ethereum is "up" or "down," they're usually talking about the chart.

But the chart is often the last thing I look at.

Instead, I ask four questions:

1️⃣ Are developers still building?

A blockchain survives because people keep creating apps, tools, and infrastructure—not because the price went up this week.

2️⃣ Is the network being used?

If people are actively using Ethereum for DeFi, stablecoins, NFTs, and other applications, that's a sign of ongoing activity. Usage can matter as much as price.

3️⃣ What's happening with fees?

Lower fees can make Ethereum more accessible. Higher fees can indicate strong demand but may also discourage some users.

4️⃣ Is market sentiment outrunning fundamentals?

Sometimes the price moves before the fundamentals change. Other times, the technology improves long before the market notices.

That's why I don't ask:

❌ "Will $ETH double this month?"

I ask:

✅ "Would I still want to own this asset if the market stayed quiet for the next 12 months?"

That single question filters out a lot of emotional decisions.

The market rewards patience more often than prediction.
